The events of this story take place a couple days after A Takamori Story, so if you wanna get caught up, go read it. I worked really hard on it and I'm giving it 110% for this story! I would really appreciate it if you checked it out along with my other book, "The Myths". But that's enough from me. Let's get into An Amesame Story. I hope y'all enjoy!

AME'S POV

"We're here on the scene of 3 separate fires. One apartment in downtown, a house near the beach, and another home just on the outskirts of the city have all been engulfed in flames. These fires are absolutely raging as firefighters have been trying to put out these fires for 3 hours now. They somehow managed to contain the fires so they won't spread. Luckily, it seems like no one was inside any of the homes at the time they started, seemingly simultaneously. More coverage of-"

The television turns off.

"Okay folks, that's the case we're investigating. Here's the run down. On January 24th, 3 houses were burned down. One of which belonging to our own Detective Amelia Watson. Watson, do you have any leads as to who would do such a thing?" My boss asked.

"No sir. I searched the wreckage for fingerprints, nearby tire tracks by a getaway vehicle, and possible nearby footprints. I came up empty handed. Whoever did this knew what they were doing." I respond with my 3rd cup of coffee in hand. Today is February 1st. It's been 8 days since the fires and I have yet to sleep. Looking for the Arsonist has proven harder than I thought. On top of my detective work, I have to call YAGOO to ask him to supply the girls and I with some replacement streaming supplies.

Suddenly my phone starts ringing. "Hang on boss, I need to take this call." I say.

"Go ahead, take your time Watson." My boss says.

I walk away from my desk and into the coffee room and answer my phone.

"Hi this is Amelia Watson *hic* speaking." I say as I sip my coffee.

"Hello Amelia, it's been a while." A familiar voice says.

"Well speak of best girl himself. I was just thinking about you." I respond to the voice on my phone. "YAGOO, how are you?" I ask.

"I'm doing good Amelia. I heard that Ina'nis, Gura's and your houses were burnt down." He says. "I'm sorry that happened to you all. Ina has already informed me that you're all staying at Kiara's house for the time being. I know you have your hands full with finding the Arsonist since your a detective, but I'll be sending streaming supplies such as monitors, keyboards and mouses, headsets, microphones, and etc. to the house. They should be arriving in 5 days. Your all welcome to take a break from streaming to focus on your well being or finding the Arsonist, but don't forget to return to streaming soon." He says.

"Alright, thanks YAGOO. You're a real life saver." I say as I hang up. I sigh as I put on my coat and hat.

"I'm going home for the day." I shout to my boss.

"Watson, take the next 2 weeks off to rest. I know you've been looking for clues nonstop, but I want you to rest. That's an order. Understand?" He says as he waves to me.

"Got it boss. See you in 2 weeks." I say. When I walk out the door, an intense wave of fatigue slaps me in the face as I let the winter air flow into my lungs.

"Why am I so tired? Must be the ping..." I joke to myself. "I wonder what Gura is up to..." I say as I dizzily stagger home.
