Part 65

That night the three of you split pizza and the last of Jimin's wine in the living room again with the fireplace blasting. The April skies had finally let loose the cold nasty rain that had been threatening all week and you were happy to be inside with the fireplace and candles spread around and the lights low.

After dinner when the three of you were just chatting quietly, you finally decided to ask the question that had been in your head all afternoon.

Turning to Hoseok from where you sat tucked up against Yoongi's side, you waited for a pause in the conversation before you set your glass on the coffee table.

"Subin?" You asked while looking at Hoseok, figuring it wasn't going to be a fun topic and sure enough you felt Yoongi tense up and the hand that was sitting at your waist clenched hard on your hip when you said it.

Yoongi sighed and hung his head and set his own glass down. Before Hoseok could form a response to your question, Yoongi turned to you and cupped your face in his hands.

Leaning in he gave you one of those soft, sweet, amazing kisses that he knew you loved so much. Drawing back a little he held your face before tilting his forehead down to bump against yours.

"I love you (Y/N)," he said once before he sat up again.

You grabbed his cheek in your hand and turned his face towards you.

"Unless Hobi is about to announce you're a serial axe murderer Yoongi, I love you too, but I'm going to guess less axe murderer and more you previously dated an axe murderer," you said, and Yoongi smiled a little.

Hobi however cracked up.

"Nah, any axe murderer would be a peach against Subin," said Hobi and you were a bit taken aback.

Yoongi sighed again and waved at Hobi who leaned over and grabbed the last of the wine bottle and refilled all the glasses. Dripping the last drop into your glass, he looked at you as he set the bottle down.

"My brother is very loving," he began, "but very blind to some things when he wants to be."

You turned to Yoongi and made sure his hand was on your waist again before snuggling into his shoulder and taking his other hand and drawing it into your lap top hold him in place. He was so tense, and you thought he'd really like to escape and bury himself in the studio, so you thought you'd better hold him in place.

Hoseok took up the story again and Yoongi chimed in now and again with some comments.

Apparently when BTS had first started out, Yoongi had already been dating a girl.

"Mean as a snake, and that only makes the snake look bad" said Hoseok, and you looked at Yoongi, who nodded sadly.

They'd been dating when Yoongi first met RM and Hoseok and BigHit really thought there might be something they could debut. Even then, Hoseok and RM hadn't liked Subin.
