Then Everyone in the class started gossip about the new student cuz the new student lookes like strange. He was wearing a cap and his face covered with a mask.
"Please introduce yourself and remove your cap and mask" said Mr. Smith.
Then the new student remove his cap looking at Mr. Smith.
"I can't remove my mask due to some personal reason" said the student. Then everyone in the class started gossip again.
"Why can't he remove his mask? Did he have any kind of mark on his face" said a random student.
"May be he's a criminal.so he doesn't want to show his face" said about student.
"Okay then please introduce yourself" said Mr. Smith and the student nodded.
"Hello Everyone I'm Shawn" said the student.
Then Nancy looked at the new student. His eyes look like he's hiding so much pain and his voice is like he wants to say something but he can't. She doesn't realize that she's staring at him.
"That's a little don't you want say something to your new friends" said Mr. Smith
The student shook his head. "Ok then take the vacant seat beside Nancy. Nancy raise your hand" said Mr. Smith.
Then Nancy rose her hand.
The student came at her direction and sat beside her.
"Hey" greeted Nancy with a soft smile. The student looked at her but said nothing.
Nancy feels strange then ignored him and focused on lesson.

===Shawn POV===

"Hey" the girl beside me greeted.
I looked at her. With her almond shape brown eyes and a tiny nose she looks so cute. Her lips form shapes that are pleasing to me forming a smile on my face although she doesn't notice cuz of my mask.
"But why she's talking to me. Everyone curses me, hates me also avoids me even my own parents. She's the first one who is talking to me to nicely. But what should I say to her I don't know. What if I say her something but she feels strange and doesn't want to talk to me anymore....no no no.... it'd be better not to say anything" thought Shawn and said nothing to her.

===Nancy POV===

"So students tell me the answer of this question" said Mr. Smith after teaching so many.

I don't study well, so I did not understand what question the teacher is asking. But looking at the class topper's face reaction I could know that it's a very difficult question. Everyone in the class got silent and no one could answered that question but suddenly Shawn stand up from his sit and answered that question so correctly even Mr Smith got impressed.

Time skip......

The bell rang and it was lunch break time.
"I don't know where is canteen. Should I ask her but what if she doesn't want to talk to me cuz I didn't greeted her back before" thought Shawn.
Then gathering his courage he greeted in a low voice "Hey".
She looked at me with a charming smile and said "you don't know the way to canteen right! Come with me I'll show you"
"How did she know I wanted to ask her that. Can she read minds or something. Anyway she's is very kind" thought Shawn. Then followed her.

===Nancy POV===

"Lunch break yeah. I'm so hungry" said Nancy and looked at the direction of Lyra to go with her to canteen. But her gaze fell on Shawn.
She thought "why he is so quiet. Why he wears a mask. May be he's a quiet person or doesn't like talking much but he's so intelligent"
Her thought Interrupted by Shawn's greet "Hey"
Then she looked at him. She know that he's quite person so From his eye expression she understand that may be he wants to ask me the way to canteen or something although he's a new student.
She looked at him with a charming smile and said "you don't know the way to canteen right! Come with me I'll show you"
"His eyes go soft with this answer may be he wants to ask this" thought Nancy and smiled herself.
Then Lyra comes to her and gaze at Shawn then looked at Nancy' with a why-is-he-with-you face.
"Don't worry. He just doesn't know the way to canteen so he's coming with us and please don't talk too much to him cuz he's is a very quiet person" muttered Nancy to Lyra.
Then they headed to canteen.

In canteen---

" I'm starving only food can make me happy hehehehe" said Nancy
"Me too" said Lyra and then they both giggled.
After taking their lunch they searched for Shawn but he's no where to be found.
"O God where did he go...he even doesn't know the way in school.i need to find him" said Nancy in a worry tone.
"Chill baby he'll be here somewhere don't worry" said Lyra.
"No no he's not here. I need to find him" said Nancy and ran to find Shawn.
She searched in whole school but didn't find Shawn.
"Now there's only one place left 'rooftop' " muttered herself Nancy and ran towards rooftop.

===Shawn POV===

After taking lunch
"I can't eat here I can't remove my mask in front of them. If I remove my mask they also avoid me, hate me and curse me"
"I can't. I'm tired of that. I'm tired of everyone's hate and curse specifically Nancy I don't want her to hate me or avoid me. I want her to like me but why does she like me right. It's better to distance myself from her" thought Shawn
He only knows the way to rooftop cuz he noticed the stairs in the hallway while going to class.
He headed towards rooftop. No one was there to judge him, to avoid him or to curse him.
So he removed her mask and started to eat in peace. After eating he weared his mask and hear footsteps behind him.

"What are you doing here? I searched you in whole school but you are here. Are you okay? Why don't you tell me before coming to here? I worried about you" said Nancy in a concern voice

"Sorry I don't want to remove my mask in front of everyone so I came here" said Shawn.

"Oh it's okay if you're done then come with me I didn't have lunch. I don't want to eat my lunch alone" said Nancy with beaming smile.

"Why didn't you have lunch and where is your friend" asked Shawn in confuse tone.

"I was searching for you idiot and Lyra has dance classes so she went. Now accompany me with my lunch" said Nancy with a charming smile. Then Shawn nodded and followed her.

After reaching canteen Nancy ate happily of course food is the only thing that can make her happy.

Shawn felt guilty for not telling her before going to rooftop but First time in his life he's happy cuz someone is worrying about him.
After lunch they headed towards class.

Time skip-------

=== Nancy POV===

After last period the school is over.
"School is over yeah" said Nancy happily cuz she doesn't like classes and it's time for her to go to the cafe for part time job. She likes to work in that cafe.

Then she looked at Shawn and smiled.
Shawn also looked at her and automatically a smile formed on his face. Of course she doesn't notice cuz of his mask. Then Shawn got off from his and said Bye to her before heading towards school gate.

A/N: Long chapter right hehehe..... sorry.... right now I'm lack of ideas. Also please ignore my grammatical mistake cuz I'm a beginner still learning .....hehehe (awkward laugh)
