Chapter 5- Angelic

Rhiannon's POV

Today was the day I got to help Jake surprise Sloan and I couldn't wait. The previous day had been spent traveling all day. I wanted to get to the venue early so I could put the finishing touches on Sloan's dress before she showed up. I walked into the venue and started walking to a workroom. Nick turned out of a room and I swear I saw a small smirk on his face as he passed me. I brushed it off and put my stuff down. I started to work when I got a text,

Jake-Hey, I have the shoes, where are you?

-I'm at the venue, in the second room on the left.

Jake- Ok, I'll have someone bring them

A few minutes later I heard a knock,

"I have a delivery for the beautiful Ms. Rhiannon." I heard him say, I grinned knowing exactly who it was.

"Come in Josh," I giggled. He came through the door with that adorable smile on his face.

"Jake asked me to bring these to you," He said as he handed me the shoes,

"Thanks," I said as I took them, Josh leaned against my work table

"I was also told to give you very specific instructions," He took a piece of paper out of his pocket, holding it up to read it, "Get Sloan when there are 2 songs left, help her get ready and then find Jake who will have a car waiting," He said sitting down the piece of paper in front of me,

"He really has it all figured out huh?" I said as I read over the instructions again,

"He does, he's really excited too. Thank you so much for helping him out" He said as he gently placed his hand on arm as I worked. I turned to face him,

"You know Joshy, I still haven't gotten that text." I said raising a brow at him

"I know, there just hasn't been a good time," He sighed, "We were on the road and tonight we are going out so Sloan and Jake have the bus, I just want it to be perfect when I do take you out." He said moving his hand from my arm to my hand. "I promise it will be soon."

"Alright, I guess thats fair," I smiled at him,

"But, you are more than welcome to come out with us tonight if you want?" He said pulling me to standing, holding my hand and giving me a spin, "We could dance some more, and maybe not be interrupted this time." he smiled as he pulled me against him.

"That sounds fun," I replied

"Outstanding, I have to get back to the bus and make sure Jake doesn't need anything else. I will find you after the show." He gave me a quick peck on the cheek before grinning as he left the room. I went back to working on Sloan's dress when I heard another knock on the door. I went over and opened it and was surprised to see the bands manager standing there.

"Oh hello, I wasn't expecting a meeting today, please come in." I said moving some fabric so he could sit on the couch.

"There wasn't a meeting planned for today but something came up." He said as he took a seat

"Was there a wardrobe issue? I can fix it if so," I said trying to wrack my brain to what was going on

"Why don't you take a seat," He motioned to the seat across from him. I felt myself starting to get anxiety as I heard the seriousness in his tone. I sat down and waited for him to speak, "We heard about what happened at the bar 2 nights ago. Now I already have Nicks side of the story, but I wanted to hear yours." I internally rolled my eyes, what a little bitch, he reported me?
