It took me almost 2 days to assimilate "Beatitude". To combine with it my "extraction" to make a melody, was rather complicated. It must be said that my taste for musical art forced me to want the chords to be harmonious! Very quickly, it seemed obvious to me that a single melody played by a single instrument would not lead to anything.

So I decided to compose a tune for a flute and a Qin! The extraction and the appeasement of the pain had to be done at the same time. But it was also necessary to integrate a part to purify and eliminate the evil energy.

On the other hand, I didn't know how much spiritual power we would need. I wondered if Lan Zhan could perform the exorcism with me. He was gradually regaining his strength. Within two days, he no longer needed help to walk.

Someone knocked on our door. It must have been SiZhui and Xichen. It was time to test the melody I had composed!

The children were arranged in a circle around us, their parents by their side. Jiang Cheng, Jin Ling and Wen Ning were positioned outside the circle they formed. I held my flute to my lips. Lan Zhan began to play the melody on Wangji, to which I soon added Chenqing's chords.

Our duo had the desired effect. Black smoke began to billow out of the small, immobile bodies. The gentle chords of Qin soothed the pain of the extraction. Eventually, the wisps of smoke gathered above me. I started the part of the piece to purify them and make them disappear! I had created this music in record time because I wanted to heal these children before we left for Gusu! I hoped that the last part would work as well as the first two! I realized that Lan Zhan was right, I kept doubting myself!

I was approaching the end of the melody... the dark energy slowly started to dissolve and finally disappeared. Lan Zhan's Qin fell silent, I lowered Chenqing and looked at the children around me. They did not move... I heard a groan and then another groan and the eyes of many of them opened. They threw themselves into their parents' arms.

We had succeeded!

All that remained was to apply the same treatment to the others. But I had to be careful with my soul mate. After discussing it together, we decided that SiZhui and Lan Zhan would take turns with the soothing part. The rumor that Song Lan's little patients had been miraculously cured by the music spread like wildfire.

The clan leaders came to see us proceed. By the last group, we were exhausted, and the elimination game was hard for me. Jiang Cheng and SiZhui had to intervene to keep the evil energy above me while I purified it.
