Rise of the Guardians One-Shots pt.2

Payback

The mares took him everywhere he needed. He did all that was needed to succeed before asking to be taken into the deep corners so he could watch. 

It was night time when Pitch walked into his sitting room, Emily already in there. She smiled at him as she hugged him in a welcome. They hadn't seen each other in a long time. It was when they both had relaxed in the chairs to eat dinner when it happened. 

An alarm clock went off in the other room. 

Emily slowly looked up from her plate as she saw her husband staring at his plate. She narrowed her eyes on him as he slowly looked at her. She groaned, putting her head in her hands as a mare brought the alarm clock to them. She knew. She knewwwww what was coming. 

Another one went off a few minutes later. 

"Nope. I'm going to visit Sera, you're finding them all yourself." Pitch groaned as Emily left.

Pitch's Prank: Messy

"If you do this, I'll sneak all of you more cookies than you get in a month." Pitch watched the group of elves look at each other before back at him, nodding with big smiles. He had found the group of elves that didn't follow Jack around like ducklings. These were the ones that Jack froze the day the Guardian's brought him to the Pole. 

"I'll need those two large containers and that box right there." The elves got to work following his plan as they worked quickly. Jack was due back soon for the dinner that was being held for no reason other than having a get together. Everyone was already in the sitting room while he stood right outside the window, in the shadows and ceiling, to set it all up. Jack would be coming through this window. 

It all came together nicely as he removed the shadows and allowed the elves to run. He promised them cookies and safety should Jack bring something towards them. He made his way to the seat in between Ares and Emily. He gave Emily a smile as she was oblivious to what he was doing, his bestfriend however knew. He glanced at Ares who was just looking at him in complete boredom. 

"Really? You realize this is childish, right?" 

"Be happy it isn't you. I distinctly remember you pulling something on me that I never got you back for." Ares tilted his chin before taking his drink. Good point. 

They had waited for another ten minutes before the sound of the wind hit the windows. Everyone turned to see Jack right outside as he opened it up, standing on the window seat to brush off the snowflakes. He looked up at everyone with a smile until he stepped forward. He felt the trip wire. Dammit. 

Jack heard someone gasp before he felt it. Sticky. He groaned as he smelled honey pouring all over him. At this point, he didn't move. He just let it happen because he knew what was coming next. A puff of flour fell on him as the large amount covered him. He heard someone laughing their ass off. He reached up to wipe the honey from his eyes to find everyone hiding their amusement. He met Pitch's eyes as he just let his face go blank. 

Pitch's smile grew. Jack was staring at him as he winked. He ignored Emily's groan of annoyance.

Jack's Prank: Caught

Jack was allowed by the mares to set it up. They let him set up the whole thing free of charge because Pitch "grounded" them. So they let him do something again. Jack set everything up quietly as he tried not to wake them up. He had to do it at night time or else it wouldn't work. He did the final set up before stepping back. A smile grew on his face as he looked to Baby Tooth.
