Perfect- Ria's POV

It was a perfect morning, and I was eager to spend time with my closest friends, Iris and Milana. Since I first met Iris and Milana when I was 14 years old, we have grown rather close—almost like sisters. Since they were 23 years old, my parents have gotten along with their parents and have treated them like family. My younger sister Avneet called me for breakfast when I was in a voice conversation with them. "Oh come on Avu, only five more to go. My arm ached as I fought to escape Avneet's grasp as she ran and pulled me off the bed. "Please Didi, we need to go shopping together today," "Fine!" I say goodbye to my friends and end the call as I slowly go downstairs for breakfast. "Mom,kya mujhe aaj shopping mall jaana hai? main apane doston ke saath ek yaatra kee yojana bana raha tha. (" Mom, do I have to go to the shopping mall today? I was planning a trip with my friends") "mere bachche ko avaneet ke lie karana achchhee baat hogee. tumhen vahee karana chaahie jo vah chaahatee hai kyonki vah tumhaaree bahan hai" As I agreed, I sighed. I drove us both to the Golden Creek Mall in my white SUV. When we got there, Avneet immediately proceeded to her favorite store, Henri Bendel. I went to the Argosy Book store to read some fables because Avneet was all about fashion and I was more of a bookworm. She gripped my hand as we sprinted to the game arcade after spending two or three hours choosing stylish boots and leather jackets. The fact that my sister and I are an unstoppable combo is my favourite thing about her. We drove back after snatching a few doughnuts.  We are very close and share everything with each other although she could be annoying like other siblings sometimes. When we arrived back at home Siddharth, our dad welcomed us and hugged us both. " Haven't you both grown up ever since I saw you!" My dad is my favorite person on this whole planet ever since I was a kid and Avneet loves him a lot too. He is working right now far away in London so he can only visit us during the Christmas holidays. As I, my mother, and Avneet sat on the sofa next to the electric fireplace, he made us some hot chocolate. Dad took the Christmas tree out of the basement, and we took the decorations and ornaments. My mother prepared warm cookies with icing and put the stockings and garlands around the top of the Christmas tree as we worked on it. Together, we cleaned the house, which is a lot of fun while Christmas music is playing in the background. I was disappointed gazing out the window as we watched the stars. "Why are you depressed, my love? " "I truly wish Esha and Marinette could have been here since we always do everything with them. I long for them."  At that precise moment, a doorbell rang, and I heard approaching footsteps. "Hi! Over the holidays, we come here to stay."  As my dad met Isaac and Adrien, my mom gave hugs to her closest friends. My pals embraced Avneet and me as we hurried upstairs. Christmas morning arrived quickly, and as we all got ready to go to church, I jumped out of my pajamas. We all started singing carols and watching a Christmas movie as soon as we got back. We all gathered around the table for the meal at night, and it was so much fun as we read and cracked open Christmas crackers. We all shouted with pleasure when we unwrapped our gifts under the tree that evening. I received a new iPhone 12 and a locket necklace. I believed that being with mu family and friends was the only place I would rather be.
