Surrounded by darkness,
Shapeless silhouettes
Dance on the walls.
Moonlight casts shadows,
That stretch across the floor.
Reaching out
To my faint existence.
Little rips.
That is the sound
My heart makes
As it falls apart.
Spiderwebs of tree libs,
Come through the window,
Tattooing my still expression.
Pressure builds behind my eyelids,
Forcing warm streams to carry
The black makeup
Down my cheeks,
Slack slowly and twitching.
I silently sob,
Falling to my side.
I grab my legs.
Pushing my knees into my chest
Holding them there
With all my force,
Wishing it was you.
