The look on Midoriya's face, he looks so relieved. Like what Bakugou had just said had solved all of his problems.

Todoroki wishes Bakugo would stop talking, he can't listen to it anymore. Everyone is so happy, but Todoroki can't help but be anything but sad. Midoriya had looked at Todoroki like he was amazing, but now he was looking at Bakugou that way.
What did Todoroki do to deserve this?
"I'm sorry for saying such a terrible thing."
The sound of Midoriya's pained voice draws Todoroki's attention.
"I know."
Bakugou catches Midoriya's unconscious body.
Todoroki knows where it went wrong.
Todoroki doesn't deserve Midoriya. He can't compete with Bakugou.
