"WHY DOES HE KEEP DISCONNECTING ME?" JASPER FROWNED. AURORA was up in junk n' stuff with schwoz, charlotte and jasper watching captain man and kid danger do a livestream to connect with their fans. since the two superheroes announced they'd be taking video calls, jasper has been dialing the line nonstop. first it was under his real name, then he progressed into numerous aliases. he had called under the name j.d. which ended up getting answered but immediately ended when ray realized it was jasper.
"probably cause you keep calling him," charlotte shot back.
"honestly jasper you should've gotten the hint when he hung up on you the first three times," aurora added.
jasper waved them both off before going back to watching the livestream.
"alright, we got another video caller who goes by the name... mister e. person," kid danger announced.
"ooo, mister e. person," captain man grinned as kid danger answered the call.
doctor minyak then appeared on the screen, "it is i! doctor minyak!"
"ugh, does he ever give up?" aurora rolled her eyes.
"oh, mystery person, i get it," captain man figured out. "what do you want, minyak?"
"to challenge you, captain man!" minyak revealed.
"he wants to challenge you," kid danger retold.
"uh-huh. challenge accepted," captain man undertook, not showing any signs of interest.
"wha— but you don't even know what my challenge is."
"don't care. cause i can beat you at anything," claimed captain man.
"yeah, so.. what is you 'big challenge' for captain man?" kid danger air quoted.
"yeah, whaddaya wanna lose to met at?" captain man wondered
"oh, i shan't lose. because i challenge you, captain man, to a contest of spelling!" minyak divulged.
"spelling?" captain man repeated.
"yesss. perhaps you know that swellview's yearly spelling bee takes place next friday," minyak grinned.
