I'm five minutes early and as pro usual, I panic. I don't know if he stood me up or what. I just like to be early. What if he's late? I don't know! I'm just nervous. I should calm myself down. I mean we only started talking a few days ago. Not even! So, I think I have the right to be nervous and scared. What if he is scared as well? I see a blondie that looks like the one I texted yesterday.
I make my way over to him. The blonde stared at me, like he knew me from somewhere. "Are you Kat?" I asked. "Only if your Shinsou." I smiled and replied, "I am Shinsou." The blonde looked at me, he had the same expression on as before. "Let's order Coffee?" He asks. "Yeah." He is cute. I don't want to think that. Why would I think that?! Dumb Shinsou!
We waited in line for what felt like forever! Ten minutes later we got our coffee. I got Black coffee and Kat got A mocha frappe. "Uh...What now?" He asks taking a sip. "Uh We can hang at my place?" I ask. "Uh No thank you." He speaks. "Oh. It's okay." "Wait. Let's hang at your place." I gesture him to follow me, and we walk to my car. "Did you take your car?" I ask not wanting to leave it here with thieves. "No, I took the bus." I nod, getting into the car.
The car ride wasn't silent like in most car rides in my car. Kat was singing with me. We drank our coffees and talked. I hadn't really been the one to reach out first. So, this was surprising. I pull into the driveway of my house and Kat's face gives off weird vibes.
"This is your house?" Kat said. Then my green headed neighbor came out. "Kacchan? Is that you?" Izuku called out. "Fucking Deku. Great. Hi Nerd." I guess they knew each other. But from the way they were acting, you would've guessed they were worst nemeses. Mainly Kat was acting like that. "Hey Shinsou? Why is Kats-" "Say my real name and I'll cut your tongue off!" I wondered why he didn't want to say his real name. "See you later Izuku!" I grab Kat's arm and I go inside my house and lock the door.
We chatted for a while. I got to know him better. I changed my contact on Kat's phone when he went to the bathroom. I like Kat. As a friend of course, but I like him because he is not afraid to be who he is. I think. If he is hiding who he really is he must be a pro because I can't tell the difference.
Tuesday 3:00 pm
