- few hours later
Kyla

"Last time he texted me was around 12:30, he said he'd be home at 6 and never showed." I said to the officer, handing Kacey her stuffed toy

"Ok ma'am, we have our officers checking all areas. Do you guys have any other addresses he might've stoped by?"

"I'ma tell you like I told the last three, no. If y'all checked our cabin and he isn't there, then no." I started getting frustrated.

We've been looking for Mekai for four hours now and found nothing.

"Ok ma'am, no need to get worked up, I'm sure-"

"Y'all neva' no help." I shook my head, biting my lip

"Excuse me, may I speak with you?" another officer asked the one questioning me

"We'll be right back ma'am." The officer questioning me stood

I stood up too "Nah, if it's anything going on y'all needa' let me know. Everything. The fuck?"

"Ma'am this information is confidential and-"

"And if another one of y'all call me ma'am like I ain't got a fuckin' name!" I threw my hands up in frustration

"Ma'am, excuse me Ms. Parker." He started "We're doing all we can just-"

"Nah, what information is so confidential you can't share with his wife?"

"Ms. Parker by law you aren't his wife, so-"

"And I don't give a flying fuck, I'm the mother of his kids."

"Kyla." Joyce approached "Stop getting so rowdy."

"Ms. Joyce" I started in the same sweet tone "You not rowdy enough. Now what's going on?" I turned back to the officer

"Are you his mother?" The officer ignored me, talking to Joyce

"Yes and any information you have you can share with us all." She gestured between me, her, and Clint

Clinton had been quiet since the whole situation took place. He was just sitting there, staring. I figure his mind can't handle all this

"Ok, well we have a questioning suspect. Do you all know an Olivia Scott?"

"Mannn" I chuckled in disbelief "Yeah, but ain't she locked up?"

"She was released on bail two days ago." The officer said "We're thinking since she had something to do with the kidnapping of your kids, she might-"

"Ain't no might. She got Mekai, so y'all needa' find her before I do."

"That's easier said than done, we're looking hard as we can. We have all our search teams out looking as well."

"She's a fuckin' felon! Y'all don't keep tabs on weirdos like her?"

"Kyla, please show a little respect" Joyce chimed

"Ms. J, that lady is crazier than crazy. I mean all disrespect." I picked Kacey up, placing her on my hip "I have to take them to my mom's house. You think an officer can drop me off?" I asked

"Yes of course." He answered before walking off

I headed to the back to gather their belongings

"Don't you wanna be here if they find him?" Joyce followed

"They don't seem to be doing much finding. From Dom's house to here ain't that far." I let Kacey stand as I packed the their diaper bag back up

"Kyla, I understand you're scared, but please don't go adding more drama in the situation."

"Drama?" I stared rudely "I'm asking and tryna' do a lot more than you. His own mama, now excuse me." I placed the diaper bag on my shoulders, picking up a sleeping Kason and taking Kacey's hand

"I didn't mean it like that, I just-"

"Joyce, for both our sake please leave me alone right now." I walked out the house and to the police car

Omniscient

"You look like you're in pain

"You look like you're in pain. What's wrong?" Olivia chuckled, staring at Mekai

"My fuckin' leg hurt." Mekai still struggled iwith the ropes wrapped around him

"Oh don't be a crybaby, you'll be ok. It went straight thru, and I closed you up pretty nice." She smiled at the bandages on his knee "Just enough so you don't bleed out." She roughly tapped his knee

"Crazy bitch!" He groaned "Fuck you even tryna' prove?!"

"Well I can't really prove anything because you all decomposed the body yourselves so..." she shrugged

"You don't even know if we killed yo fuckin son bro. He was just assumed missing. He prolly jus' ran away from yo' crazy ass."

"See, that's where you wrong." She walked around his chair "You remember Kyla's dad right? Eddie Parker..." she taunted, whispering in his ear "Me and him are old friends, and might I say he has a deep love for his daughter."

Mekai gritted his teeth, clenching his jaw. He wanted to beat this bitch so bad, but she had him bonded pretty tight.

"Well, after him and his wife separated, he kept a close eye on Kyla. He saw her struggling to put my son's body in the car that night." She walked to face him "Small town, huh?"

"You fuckin' lying. If so, why da' fuck y'all ain't been said nothin'?"

"Shut up and listen." She picked up a steel rod "He followed her, to y'all's little cabin in the woods. He saw you all decompose the body...or should I say bodies?" She smirked, tossing the tool around

"I don't know what you talkin' bout. Bitch you delusional"

She sent a hard whack to his knee, making him scream out in agony

"Manners, young man." She laughed at him "By the way, where'd you find hydrochloric acid?" She asked, knowing how they got rid of the bodies and evidence

He ignored her. Clearly she knew everything about that night. The one question that still lingered is why wait so long?

"And that poor girl, what was her name?..." she puzzled "Lena! Yes..." she took a pause shaking her head in sadness "Mm-mm-mm. No funeral service, no closure, just two dead kids left with heartbroken parents!"

"You don't got proof we did none of dis' shit you sayin'." He was careful with his words,

"None except Kyla's father and he went and got himself locked up, so guess not..." she shrugged

"Then why the hell you doing dis'?"

"Revenge of course." Olivia smiled, cocking her head to the side "You and that bitch made my life a hell I'll never escape, it's only fair I return the favor."

With those words, she drew the steel rod back and began beating Mekai brutally. His screams were the only thing that could be heard throughout the empty warehouse until he blacked out.
