Stars stole away the night.

Part 4 :-)

Alarm beeps...
"Arghh, it's morning again."
She gets ready, has, breakfast and leaves.

She enters the lab and sees Kai. Kai greets her awkwardly without much of a eye contact. Ella greets him back without any awkwardness.

There they get back at work. Just, then, their supervisor arrives and gives them instructions about their new research and divides the work and says everybody to form a group of two.

Then, Ella asks Nina to join her.
"No, I've already paired up with Noah!" replies Nina sassily.

"Good for you." says Ella.

"Can you pair up with me ?" asks Kai to Ella.

"Whatt??...Umm.. Yess!" replies Ella shaking her head.

"I bet this guy has his eyes on you" Nina says Ella.

"Uhh..Whatever." says Ella.

Then they all start working in pairs in different small rooms.

"So, say something about yourself Mr.Kai" says Ella.

"Something What??" Kai asks.

"I mean introduce yourself to me."

"Ohh..so it's kinda of senior asking a junior to introduce themselves.. like that ?? I hope that you don't ragg me." says Kai.

"Ohh..Don't worry Mr. Kai you're under safe hands." replies Ella.

"Ohkay! Lol." Kai giggles.

"So, I recently got promoted from California to here LA. I've done my PhD in stem cells. And, I live here with some of my friends."

"Ohh..nice. So, since how many days are you in here LA ? " replies Ella.

"Umm.. it's been a week."

"So, you must be missing your family and friends, right ??"

"Yess..A lot. So,now say me something about yourself Miss. Ella or Mrs. ?"

"Umm..it's Miss first of all. And, I also live here alone. I'm over here since, almost 2 years now. And, I've quite a few friends over here."

"So, your family doesn't stay here ?"

"Nope. But, they come over here every three months or I go over to my parents during vacations to meet them. But, to be honest I do miss them a lot. But, nevermind."

"Yeah.. I feel you Ell. I too miss my parents a lot, even, though it's been a week only.

"Ell ???"

"Oh.. sorry! My bad. Ella."

"Yep. Perfect."

"Okay. So I think we should get back to work otherwise none of our work will be done."

"Yeah and then they'll whip our ass." Says Ella.

Kai starts laughing.

Many days go by both of them giggling talking about themselves and spending quite a handful of time with each other.

Saturday:-

"So, how's it going with Kai ??"asks Nina.

"Nice. We both are friends now."

"Good going Ell."

"Shut up, Nina" Ella shouts.

"Okay okay" says Nina and walks away.

Ella goes to their lab room and greets Kai.

"Hello!" Says Kai back.

They continue doing work and talking in between.

"So, what are you planning to do tomorrow?" asks Kai.

"Tomorrow ?? Umm.. Nothing much. What about you ? " says Ella.

"Nothing, will just meet my friends, hang out with them and then have good food and then go to sleep."

"Wow. It's sorted for you."

"Yeah! But, you can also come with me tomorrow if you want."

So, what do you all think ?? Will she say yes or no to Kai ???
