Mimi turned her head towards the sudden sound and turned off the alarm.
The clock read 5:30.
She hurried got up out of her very comfortable airbed to get dressed then quickly went downstairs to make some food.
"Another day another dollar..." she thought to herself mixing the waffle mix with water.
As she was pouring the mixture in the waffle maker she suddenly heard footsteps coming down the stairs making the hairs on her back rise
She looked at the short figure in fear.
"Why are you making waffles in the dark.." her brother said flicking the kitchen lights on laughing

"Ohh my bad.. and stop talking to me like you run shit ! I had you scared for life.. you almost had a damn heart attack" Khalil said smirking flicking the lights back off.

"Your little ass is going to walk for 30 minutes??" Mimi said raising her eyebrow pouring the last bit of batter into the waffle maker.
