You had meet him online.
Michael was his name.
You had a date with him tonight at some fancy place you couldn't even pronounce.
Rose was getting you ready applying a heap ton of make up.
"Rose I don't want to look like a clown" you say as she applied ruby red lipstick.
"You look great!" She says starting on your hair.
"But man your hair is hard to work with" she says putting it in a neat bun.
"gee thanks..." You mumble.
"Aaaand done" she says.
You walk to the mirror to see how you looked.
You where wearing a long [favorite color] dress and it fit like a glove.
Your make up and hair was done perfectly.
"Thank you rose" you say hugging her.
"Your welcome anything for a friend" she says hugging back.
You where ready for your date.
You walk out to the control room, rose behind you trying not to laugh at what the doctors reaction to you would be.
"Hey doctor" you say.
He was under the control panel fixing it up.
"Hey (y/n) can you hand me a wrench" he asks.
"sure"
You go to grab it bending down and handing it to him.
"Tha-"
A Smack sound was heard as the doctor fell back and onto the metallic floor.
"Are you okay!" You and rose yell out at the same time.
"ya-ya I'm-i'm fine" he says not taking his eyes of you.
"(Y/n) you look great" he says.
"Why thank you" you say taking a small bow.
"So your going on date with what's his name Michael " he says like Michael was a bad taste in his mouth.
"Umm...Yes well I'll be going now" you awkwardly say. Trying to get out of the tension filled room.
He curtly nods his head.

At the restaurant

You walked into the restaurant where a man approached you.
"Are you miss (y/l/n)"
"Yes I am" you say.
"Come with me" he says leading you outside.
There was rose bushes and a big water fountain.
The only sounds was the water pouring and crickets chirping.
It wasn't a awkward silence it was more of a calming silence.
He leads you to a table where a familiar man stood.
"Michael it's nice to meet you in person" you say.
Michael looked a lot hotter in person.
He had piercing blue eyes nothing like the soft brown of your doctor.
He had dark dark hair almost midnight black.
Nothing like your doctors soft light brown hair.
Come on (y/n) stop thinking about the doctor.
You think to yourself mentally slapping yourself.
"It's nice to meet you to" he says taking your hand and kissing it.
You blush giggling.
After a conversation with Michael you learned a lot about him. The thing is though during most of the conversation you where thinking of the doctor and how you had a guilty feeling in the pit of your stomach.
You felt like you where betraying the doctor in some way.
I mean it's not like you where dating the doctor so why feel guilty?
Your thoughts are interrupted when a man came up to your table.
"Hello I'm your waiter for tonight"
Your eyes widen.
Where have you heard that voice before
You look up to see the familiar voiced man covering his face with a menu.
You think of a plan.
"Umm yes I would like to order except I don't have a menu" you say smirking.
Michael looks at you confused and then at the menu you hid under your chair.
"Oh ok I'll go get you one of then" he says turning around to walk away.
you see familiar brown hair.
I can't believe it.
You stick with your plan.
"No no it's okay just hand me that one you have with you" you say with a falsely sweet tone.
He quickly grabs your napkin covering his face and handing you the menu.
You purposely spill your water some falling onto Michael.
He quickly gets up.
"You people are crazy" he says walking away but you keep staring at the familiar man.
"Oops i spilled my drink I guess I'll need a napkin now" you says with clenched teeth.
Grabbing the napkin from his hands pulling it.
"Hello doctor"
"Oh hey" he says giving a small awkward wave.
"You want to explain yourself doctor" you say
he sits down where Michael once sat.
"Well he could've been a dangerous alien, or a monster...or something dangerous" he nervously says scratching the back of his neck.
"Doctor he was human now tell me the truth" you say crossing your arms.
He sighs "I didn't want you going on a date with him because I wanted you to go on a date with me" he says not making eye contact.
A smile forms on your lips..
"How about we don't let this reservation go to waist and we can have dinner together" you say taking his hands into yours.
He slowly looks up.
"Really?"
"Really" you say.
You both sat there talking, laughing, and having the time of your life.
The night ended with him planting his lips onto yours and you both walking out hand in hand a smile and happy thoughts on both of you.
