|•Chapter 27:The end of a dark era•|

Start from the beginning

"Just a hunch, I suppose." Dazai answered,
which was a lie. All four of you knew that.
"I'm lucky. I didn't think I could drink here again." Ango said as you kept your suspicions on what
he was scheming. Planning to decide if you
let him live or die based on whatever he had to
say for himself. "You're very sentimental for
a mole. Even before you joined the Mafia you
had a different identity. And that's as a secret
agent of the state. You were an agent of the
Ministry of Internal Affairs gifted special
operations division. Your mission was to monitor
the Port Mafia." Listen to what Dazai had just
said as you figured this much about Ango
already but you knew there was more to come.
Things that he purposely leaves out of your
conversations before hand. It was only
because he couldn't fully trust you.

"Though the division oversees all gifted within
the nation, should there ever be an all out war
with the Mafua the division will suffer heavy casualties. The division's primary purpose is
to manage, not annihilate the gifted. That's why
they had an agent infiltrate the Mafia and
monitor their movements. Then Mimic came up
to the table. The gifted criminal-organisation
had been planning to enter Japan. They were
a headache for the division, so they decide to have you monitor Mimic as the Port Mafia's spy."He finished his explanation, letting it all flow
into your head.

"As a lowly salaried government worker, it was
a job entirely above my pay grade."Ango fixed
his glasses in place watching is body language carefully. He was so calm. Well actually a good
actor. The industry would've loved him.
"So in other words, Ango wasn't a double agent
but a triple agent." Oda spoke taking a sip of his drink. "Tell us about Mimic." You spoke up
wanting see if he would spill more on his
findings. " There isn't much more than that.
I heard Gide an Oda traded blows. Did you see
his ability?" He asked the man himself as he nods.
"I did." He answered his question

"Gide is elusive and his location is never know
to us. The brass intends for the Mafia to
handle the case."Ango had explained.
"We'll, that's very convenient for them but even
the Mafai would have a hard time dealing
with his stupid ability." Dazai agreed with you.
"Of course. That's if we don't consider a certain lowest ranking member in the organisation."
He hinted at a certain someone.
"Both our abilities only entail looking a few
second into the future. If push comes to shove,
the outcome of will depend on our skill in
combat and shooting." Oda stated.

"The unknown variables will matter a lot.
There's also "the singularity of the ability." to consider."Ango threw in some pointers at him.
"The singularity of an ability?" He questioned
"Didn't something unusual happen when you
used your ability against Gide?" He asked him
"Yeah I did."Oda answered.

"The government has observed that when
some abilities interact, they may careen off
into an entirely unexpected direction in rare
cases. I wasn't really supposed to tell you that,
it'd become a issue if the brass were...you
know, I'm meeting you like this. I'll have to
go underground for the time being." Ango
murmured to himself. This whole time is head
was hanging low, not daring enough to look
at any of you three. Mostly just you.
"Well, well... You're talking as though you'll
leave the place alive." Dazai snickered, it might
be satisfying for him to see if you're hesitant on
killing someone who you consider a "friend".
