May's Funeral

Within the week of landing in New York Steve and Tony worked out there differences, MJ and Ned got pulled out of school there parents giving consent for them to go to Wakanda with some convincing from Peter and Shuri, and the avengers packed to head to Wakanda for a while since this will be the home base location for a while. Thor made Valkyrie the new Queen of New Asgard due to neither brother wanting to rule which surprised most avengers they all forgave and started to accept Loki. Today was finally Mays funeral the avengers would obviously be attending before heading to Wakanda. As he entered the church for the ceremony Peter sat in the front row surrounded by the avengers he noticed some of his classmates and teachers in attendance and many coworkers all of which were so in awe of the avenger to notice Peter next to Shuri. Near the end of the ceremony the preacher stated "...now we invite the last living relative of May up for a personal speech." Many gasped as Peter took the stand and looked at Shuri who gave him a nod. He began his speech by clearing his throat "Hello many of you know me as Peter Parker, nephew of May Parker, If you were to ask me for one word to describe her I wouldn't have a response." as he gave a pause for a moment "You see there wasn't one word to be used to describe who she was, she was Kind, Funny, Caring she wasn't blood related but she raised me nonetheless she taught me to always care for others because you never know who might need something more than you. She worked so hard at the hospital to provide for us when my uncle died and no one in this room who saw her kindness will forget it. Peter finished his speech with tears coming down his face as he wiped them away as he stood in front of the casket placing a kiss on May's forehead before turning to the audience. Shuri and Bucky came to Stand next to him as the preacher spoke again "We will now start with the front row working back saying the final goodbyes." Slowly the people worked their way through hugging him and what not he was even surprised by Flash who apologized for how he treated him. Though he didn't tell anyone one what really happened while he was gone. As he walked out of the ceremony he was met by a weird site: the avengers talking with his Decathlon team?

"So Peter, are you coming back to school?" Betty asked

"Uhm no I actually already graduated with multiple masters from college i'm technically a doctor now." He said smiling Holding Shuri's hand

"Oh that's amazing for you Peter you always didn't fit into our level." Cindy said smiling gently

"Hey, how does pizza sound at the compound? On me! Oh Peter, your old class is invited!" Tony said, smirking as Peter rolled his eyes. Everyone agreed even the teachers and principal I guess Mortia and some of the teachers got close to the avengers when he went missing. As they all walked there separate way T'Challa rode with Tony while his old class watched with open mouth as he got into a model of stark car that hasn't hit the market obviously opening the door for his wife helping her in before he shut the door before MJ and Ned jumped in laughing and speed of towards the compound blaring music.

When they arrived at the compound that changed into regular clothes since their bags were already packed and on the plane for Wakanda they joined everyone in the common room laughing and sharing stories about May and each other when Shuri and Peter entered the walk over to the love seat and sat down cuddling getting some waves.

"So now that you're back , Peter , are you going to come cheer us on?" Abe asked since he heard the conversations

"Uhm no I am heading back to Wakanda after a bit." Peter respond

"We have a wedding to plan, do not worry you will all get invites. I have to embarrass him somehow." Shuri said and the avengers laughed

"Wait, you're marrying the Princess of Wakanda, Peter?" Harrington asked surprised

"Yup she was there for me at my lowest and I will be there for her for as long as I live." Peter responded

"He also has to train some old men into shape." T'Challa said smirking

"Wait, what do you mean?" Flash asked nervously

"Well? Should we let them in on the secrets?" Tony asked smirking

"I am no longer trying to hide it. All I ask is that you don't tell anyone." Peter said

"So what's the secret? "Betty asked excitedly

"I'm going to train the avengers on how to actually fight and maybe be good." Peter said Shuri giggled

"Wait! We aren't old!" Sam shouted

"Ok boomer." Shuri said causing laughter

"Wait, why are we under attack again?" Cindy asked nervously

"Yes, and no." T'Challa said breathing out gaining all the attention on him before continuing

"We have been given a time that a threat is coming so we must prepare, the best place to prepare is Wakanda as we succeed every other country in the world technology wise."

"Wait, so you're telling me what you guys are? Hiding in a hidden civilization?" Abe asked Curiously

"Yes." Bucky said

"Anyways, Peter has been chosen to lead us into battle without him the entire universe will lose and without the avengers he will die to save the rest of us." T'Challa said gaining gasp

"Why? Why Peter?" Mortia said tears in his eyes "He has lost everyone and everything that is not fair."

"Life will never be fair." Peter said, taking the attention of T'Challa "But we must be who we are meant to be and as Spiderman I was chosen for my mental and physical strength." He finished

"Your Spiderman?" Flash asked in horror

"You.... oh my god you saved us multiple times and even saved Liz's dad when he tried to kill you!" Cindy said in horror

"Yes I did but I killed him and I will not allow anyone to take earth." Peter said sadly

"What do you mean killed him?" MJ asked not having heard it yet

"Oh well when I went missing I might have killed him before I almost died." Peter said rubbing the back of his neck

"Ned MJ, aren't you going to miss him?" Betty asked confused

"No, we are going with him since we technically work for the Avengers. We are getting our diplomas from Wakanda." Ned said and gasps were heard

"And you weren't going to tell us?" Cindy asked feeling betrayed

"That's why you guys got pulled from our school system." Mortia said making a O face

After talking a while longer they all said goodbye and left the compound going their separate ways
