It was a still November night
when I laid out all that's
ever been done to meOut loud, past the silence
I so long loved, it was
a still November night
when I was reminded
of who should I be with
in moments of lossIt was a still November night
when I said all that I've held back
and believed to have martyred
myself for and the freedom
I felt, the weight of the world
eased upon my shouldersIt was a still November night
when I knew who would
stay with me forever
