"Hey baby" Rita says walking in with breakfast. "It's almost 12:30pm" she sets the food down.

"Oh" I flip the the channels.

"I took the kids to school for you" she sits on the bed. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah I'm fine"

"Baby what's wrong?" Rita runs her hand over my face.

"Nothing, I'm fine" she stands up.

"I-" she stops and walks out.

"August" I look up at her. "I love you"

"How much do you love me?" I look up at her.

"To the moon and back" Melanie smiles at me and climbs on top of me.

"To the moon and back, knowing damn well there is all these galaxies and-" she laughs and messes with my hair.

"Baby I am happily in love with you" Melanie giggles.

"Happy?"

"Always happy when I'm around you August" she leans down and kiss me.

Melanie's POV

"Baby you are burning it!" I rush over to the stove.

"Nah back up," he hovers over the stove. "I got this,"

"Baby it's burning" he rolls his eyes.

"RING RING!" I shake my head and pick up the phone.

"Hello?"

"Mel?" I hear Rita's voice.

"Yes?" Justin looks at me.

"I need your help" I sigh.

"What's wrong?"

"It's August," I grab my shoes and keys. "He's not acting himself"

"I'm on my way" I hang up and walk towards the door.

"Aye where you going?" Justin asks.

"To help August,"

"Hey," Rita smiles and hug me. I look at her crazy and roll my eyes. "Oh sorry, thanks for coming, he's not being himself" I walk upstairs and walk to his room.

"Mel?"

"Hey sleepyhead" I open the blinds and set my keys down.

"Wh-"

"Get up" he looks at me."have you taken a shower?"

"Yeah," he rolls over.

"What's wrong with you?" I kneel down and look him in the eye.

"I'm just tired" I bring my hand to his face.

"Well it's time to wake your ass up babe" he smiles at me. "Yeah no more 'I'm just tired ' bullshit wake the fuck up"

"Nah nah what did you just call me?"

"I didn't call you anything" I look at him crazy.

"Yes you did, you called me babe"
