This is what I am right now.
Today riya and I have to go to the new hospital where we have shifted her dad and she still doesn't know about his condition.
I am just afraid of the consequences.
Right now I am getting ready for office.
Suddenly my phone rang and my lips automatically curved in a smile
"Hey baby" I cooed
"Hey" She said softly
"How are you baby? "
"Arjun we literally met like yesterday"
"But still it has been more than ten hours"
"Stop whining" And I can bet she rolled her eyes
"Did you just roll your eyes baby? "
She gasped and said "are you spying on me? "
"You ready for office? "
"Yeah almost but aren't we supposed to meet dad today? " She asked confusion lacing her voice.
"Yeah.so i'll pick you up in 15 minutes? "
"Yeah sure" She said
"Okay then see you. Bye baby"
And she hanged up.
Today I will have to tell her about her dad's real condition.
She is gonna be so mad.
I went downstairs
And there was everyone happily chatting at the dinning table
Yes. Everyone is still here. Mom and dad want to see me settled first and for kriti well she and pari are happy here as most of the time her husband is travelling.
And also I love being around pari.
"Morning everyone" I said and sat down
Chorus of mornings rang
"Uwncle cwan I awlso cwome? " Pari asked showing her toothy grin.
"But darling uncle is going to work" Kriti caressed her cheek
"Bwut I want to mweet ree" She pouted wiggling her two pig tails
She is cute!
"Pari how about I go finish my work quickly and take you to meet her? " I asked
"Otay" She grinned
I finished my breakfast and went to pick her up.
The whole ride I just prepared myself for the consequences
I reached near her house and called her
"Hello" She spoke
"Baby girl am outside"
"Okay coming" She hanged up
I moved out of the car and there she came looking stunning as always.
She smiled at me but I took her in a hug and hugged her tightly with all my will. She hugged me back and I inhaled her scent.
I kept hugging but I broke the hug unwilling.
"What's wrong arjun? " She frowned
"Nothing" I smiled
