Sam POV
" Why can't she just understand?" I heard my sister sob as I cringed, looking at Damon he handed me my favorite drink; Bourbon with a tap of blood
" Damon... Please don't turn against me too" I said and grabbed his forearm with pleading eyes
He pulled his arm away from my tiny hand gently, giving me a look of mixed emotions
" Damon, I thought you needed..me" I whispered as he walked to Elena, Lo, and Stefan
I swallowed my heart and dropped the glass, feeling something come over my body. I saw a vision, pain welling up in my face, arms and legs becoming weaker
Damon POV
I didn't want to hurt Sam; yes we're secretly dating, but betraying Lo like that?
I heard glass shatter, I turned and saw Sam with white eyes, nose bleeding and looking up at the ceiling while on her knees
I ran to her side and shook her shoulders as I felt everyone's presence behind me
" Sam" I yell, pulling her in my lap and craddling her
Sam POV
I saw Damon with Katherine as they ran through the woods, he had a smile as she laughed
I watched as they came closer to me, I felt a shock go through my body as thy walked through me
I felt someone hold me, I cried as the pain shot through me again.
Finally, opening my eyes I woke to see the blue ones I loved dearly
" Is she alive?" Lo sobbed, I creased my for head and felt sore
" Can you get up?" Damon asked as I shook my head after trying
He picked me up, taking me to his bedroom and laying next gently on the bed
He sat on the edge and said, " I really thought I'd loose you today" I looked at him, grabbing his hand and gently placing a kiss on his knuckles
" I wouldn't ever do that" I said as he smiled, then, got up
I grabbed his hand and pulled him back
" Where are you going?" I asked, pouting
" I didn't say you could leave" I joked as he kissed my forehead, then, laying in the bed beside me
I placed my forehead on his chest, hearing his steady heartbeat
I closed my eyes and felt happy, something I haven't felt in awhile now, not betrayed, not guilt, but pure delight
Lola POV
I glanced at Stefan as he sat looking forward
" I know this is hard, but, I don't want to see you hurt" He said, not looking at me
" What do you mean?" I asked, glancing over his features
" I'm- I'm letting you go" He said, finally looking at me. I nodded as he got up and walked to his room
I watched as Sam came down with a bottle of bourbon and messy hair, plus Damon's shirt
" Did you and Damon-" She cut me off
" What did I just hear?" She asked, sitting next to me
" Did Stefan just break up with you?" She asked as I nodded
" He was doing it for my-" She cut me off again
" How dare he?" She yelled, taking a swig of the liquor and offering me some afterwards
I shook my head, " What about you and Damon?" I asked
" What do you mean?" She asked, running a hand threw her hair and leaning back on the couch
" Were dat- were good friends" She replied then, Damon came down
They gave each other glances as he did his eye thing and smirked at her, she looked down at her lap
" When are you guys gonna admit it?" I asked, slightly annoyed
" Admit what?" She asked, handing Damon the rest of the bottle
" You're 22, and he's 25," I looked at them " You're perfect, plus your guys' thinking" I added as she laughed slightly
" He's actually 174, not 25" She said, his hand behind her, along the couch railing
" Yea, and she's not the best companion" He joked as she punched his arm
He smirked at her as she got up and went to the kitchen
" So, are you guys secretly dating?" I asked him as he got up also, he smirked back at me
" We're working on it" He said and went into the kitchen

" I have to go deal with something," I said, pulling my leather jacket on
" And what may this 'dealing' be?" Damon asked, pulling me into his chest
" From the past" I replied, walking to the door
" I wanna help my sister" I added, leaving
