" Wura" Stephanie screamed and stood up to hug me as I entered the room with my suitcases. The holiday moved so fast as strongly opposed to my feelings. Although I missed school a little I wasn't ready to resume at the same thing I know I won't ever be ready to resume. I just won't

" Stephanie" I squealed too before she gave me a bone crushing hug.

" Please Steph, don't break my neck" I said smiling

" Happy new year guys" Peace said coming to join in our hug

" Happy new year to both of you too" I said with a wide smile.

" Wura see the way you are just fresh anyhow" Peace said pulling me into a hug after Stephanie released me.

" Abi na" Stephanie chirped with a teasing smile

" You guys have started" I said with a pout

" Are we lying" Promise teased.

" Wura let me see the birthday gift you brought for me" Stephanie squealed and I chuckled.

" Wait, let me unpack first" I said unzipping my bags.

" Well I bought you something as well" Stephanie said

" What" I asked

" Let just say it's a Christmas gift" She said and walked towards her wardrobe, brought out a gift bag and stretched it out to me.

" What is this" I said looking into the bag. I could see some brushes, makeup brushes to be precise. I brought the whole thing out. She bought me makeup.

" Wow, Thank you" I responded with a smile

" I bought it while I was shopping for school. I wanted to buy some makeup for myself and just decided to buy for you too" She said

" Thank you so much. I appreciate your thoughtfulness" I answered teasingly. I was sincerely happy.

" The thing is that I don't know how to use it" I added

" Don't worry I know you're helpless in things like this so Stephanie here will teach you" Steph said pointing to herself

" Do you know that Tife still found out about that guy I was telling you about that night when we did video call" Steph said

" Really, how?" I asked curiously

" I don't know how he got to know but all I know is that they fought" Steph said making some dramatic stances.

" Oh my goodness" I said laughing

" The funniest thing is that Tife got really angry at me. He was like I don't want to see you near my friends again. That guy is a player, a player" She said laughing.

I laughed too

" You guys are something else" I said smiling

" I was still trying to explain to him but when I saw he was vexing and giving me gbas I also gave him gbos" She said dramatically

" What did you say" I asked laughing

" I told him that he should stop keeping bad friends too and stop trying to control me. I'm 18 for goodness sake" She said

" Well, I don't think he was trying to control you. Like he said that guy is a player and He is not good for you" I responded

" He does try to control me, He is always telling me to do this, do that and he can be so overprotective sometimes" She answered frustratedly
