Chapter 7: Fake Training, Real Love

" Sage. "

" mhm?"

" I love you."

Jett fell asleep. Sage's cheeks were gleaming as Jett leaned on her. She giggled at her.

" I love you too, silly."

Sage had a warm smile on her face. She bought Jett to the bed and covered her with her blanket. She walked to the bathroom to take a warm shower later on.

Suddenly, She saw a marine book on a shelf. She knew that she shouldn't Invade Jett's privacy but she couldn't help it. She opened it and turned to the last page.

Dear diary,

Today, I wore a nurse outfit and went to check up on Sage cuz i heard that she passed out. I was so worried about her so I'd do anything to help her.

' the diary is not finished... Ill help her.'

After Sage wrote some content in it she placed the book back in place and lied down beside Jett, stroking her hair and admiring her face.

' you're so pretty.. '

Sage wrapped her arms around Jett as she lay her head on Jett's.

They both fell asleep under the refreshing breeze of the night, with the raindrops dripping on their window.

In the bright morning, with the dim shining through the window, Sage woke up, unconscious.

" Morning, Sage. "

Jett walked in the room, patting on Sage's head.

" morning.."

Sage said, with her eyes barely opening.

" I made you some warm soup in the kitchen. I'm gonna go now. "

" mhm.. Bye.. "

Sage got up from Jett's bed and walked towards the bathroom.

While she was washing her face and waking herself up, She just remembered about the diary.

' did she read her diary?'

' it doesn't matter, I have to go get training.'

As Sage was getting ready, Jett went out of her apartment to somewhere. Raze and Killjoy who was chilling in the living room was waiting for her to get ready

" Sage!"

" Hey. "

Sage walked out of her room, went and get the soup that Jett made for her in the kitchen.

" mm, this is delicious. She's a true chef. "

Sage chuckles softly. She drank the last drip of the soup, licking the bottom of the bowl. After that, Sage went to the range with Killjoy and Raze.

" I'm just here to test out my tech hehe"

" Same, I am here to test out my launcher!"

Killjoy and Raze said while pulling out their equipment. Sage was annoyed and rolled her eyes.

" what am I gonna do?!"

" maybe practice your aim? "

Sage walked away from Killjoy and Raze. She took out a Ghost (pistol) and shot down the bots.

On the other hand, Jett went to the range too, but to 1v1 Phoenix.

Phoenix was sitting on the bench, waiting for Jett.
