Claire stepped from the vehicle and tightened her shawl around her shoulders. Her hair was braided in a crown around her head, loose tendrils floating in the wind. She clutched a bouquet of flowers to her chest. Pierce locked the car and stepped beside her. They walked along the dirt road leading to her sons grave site.
As they approached, she saw a figure already standing at their graves. She stopped, hand in Pierce's as her ex-husband turned to face them.
