"you look boring." kenma said, making shoyo hide a small frown. "oh..uhm- sorry..?" he says, questioningly. "whatever."
the waiter comes and takes their orders. (which kenma did not flirt with) and soon came back after.
"so. what do you like to do" kenma questioned in more of a statement tone.
"uhm... i like to play games..." shoyo says.
"....really?-" but before kenma could finish, the waiter came to take their orders. of course, shoyo being shoyo, thought kenma was going to say something horrible about him being childish for doing such things.
they had little to no conversation eating, and after, kenma randomly said, "if you get boring, i'll drop you."
of course, shoyo was already on the verge of tears before he had said that. kenma had been adding some quiet snarky comments in while they where eating.
"i- uhm. excuse me." shoyo says, as he gets up and walks to the bathroom.
tears start to pour out like waterfalls, and make shoyo feel like a total loser for crying over this. he couldn't help that he was quiet sensitive, and didn't socialize well. so, he did the only thing he could think of.
calling shimizu and hitoka.

"he- what?!" shimizu says, in a husky low voice.
"oh my gosh... i am so sorry shoyo! you can leave the date right now! i'll just call him and tell him an excuse!" hitoka says, panicked and feeling horrible
"okay.." he says as he walks out of the bathroom, still on the phone, only to find a missing kenma, and the bill on the table.
at that point, shoyo could not fight back the tears, after he read a note left by kenma.
*you got boring.*
shoyo quickly paid, grabbed his stuff, and left the café to see kenma standing by a plant. when kenma saw that shoyo was crying, he just questioned, "why're you crying?"
shoyo couldn't be bothered to answer and just walked to his car, getting in, and sobbing in his car for the whole world to see.
once he composed himself, which was at least three minutes, he hung up the call with shimizu and hitoka. took a quick glance at kenma, who was aleady looking at him. and drove off. of course, flipping kenma off before doing so.
