as shoyo lifted his head and made eye-contact with the boy, he said "oh..uhm- that's fine.." before sticking his hand out as well as they both shook hands. well- the man did, shoyo just stood their awkwardly.
"anyways, i'm terushima yuji!" terushima introduced himself as. "..hinata shoyo..." shoyo says quietly, looking down. "there's no need to be so shy, little dude!" he said, shattering shoyos ego and pride.
"..okay.." he replies. "so, how do you know kiyoko and yachi?" terushima asks. "uhm... i used to work with them... they kind of helped me once and then we started to talk more and became friends." shoyo ends his sentence with muttering, "oh god, i'm going to start rambling.." luckily, terushima didn't hear this, and the waiter came.
"so, what can i get you guys to drink?" she asks, smiling.
"oh~ how 'bout a drink of you?" terushima says, smirking at the waiter. shoyo, on the other hand, feels like dropping dead. his blind date was flirting with a waiter right in front of him. so, he decided to leave, before he would regret not leaving before.
"....i- uhm.. i'm just- gonna go now.." shoyo says quietly, but loud enough for terushima to hear. "huh? wait-" but before terushima could finish, shoyo was out of that place and going into his car.
when shoyo was in his car, he saw terushima approaching his car, knocking on the car window. shoyo let out a sigh and rolled the window down. "what..?" he asked. "look- i'm sorry, okay? " terushima says. shoyo looks at him, looks back at his car wheel, and basically slams his head into the car horn.
"oh, dear lord." he says quietly, before regaining his posture, and saying "sorry. i really need to go now."
as shoyo zooms away in his car, terushima is left in the parking lot of a hooters.

"i... i'm sorry you guys went through all of that trouble, just to have me leaving.." shoyo apologizes.
"look, it's okay! if you really want, we could just set you up with someone else! terushima just wasn't it for you!" hitoka says, comforting shoyo.
"okay..." he answers
