Chapter 11

"HELLO WE ARE-BTS!" the crowd erupts into deafening cheer as Namjoon begins the show.

"Welcome to BTS world tour, LOVE YOURSELF: SPEAK YOURSELF, here in PARIS!!"

At this point, I can feel happy tears roll down my cheek...is this what it feels like to get that one thing you have always wanted, one thing you have always dreamed of, over and over again!?

"I'm your hope, you're my hope, I'm J-"

"HOPE!!" The crowd finishes overwhelmingly.

"Hi guys, My name is V"  Taehyung begins and my heart does a little somersault out of fondness for him as he shows his V sign, looking as perfect as a character out of anime -"and I'm a good boyyy"

I lose it at that, my camera far from stable as I find myself wheezing out of laughter. Yeah, sure! 'good boy' but a total opposite in bed!
I thought as snippets of last night replayed in my head.

It was Yoongi's turn now. "Nice to meet you, I'm Suga!" he waved cutely, looking adorable as the ARMY'S went 'aww'!

"Hi ARMY, I'm worldwide handsome Jin!" Jin follows, giving a flying kiss that has the whole stadium surge like a wave!
I was glad we had a front-row VIP seat or else me and Anna would have been crushed!

I almost dropped my camera as Jimin raised his mic and ran a hand through his silky black hair.

So sexy!

He was looking so hot, it was getting hard to keep my head straight.

"Hello, I'm Park Jimin, nice to meet you!" He said, making a finger heart followed by a wink, which really did make my heart stop for a sec. This man will be the death of me!

"Yo, I'm Jungkook!" The golden maknae chimes in at the end, his newly revealed peircings were causing a mayhem, making him the ultimate heartthrob -"Let's break a leg!!"

The show kicks off with a bang as they begin performing with BOY WITH LOVE and I dwell into the paradise, swaying with their songs, holding hands with Anna as we carved this moment deep into our memory.

An hour or two pass but my feet don't stop dancing and Anna has to remind me again and again to calm down, but I don't care if it hurts later, I can't stop grooving to their magical voices!

The music though shifts to a softer side as the concert team rearranges the stage and the members go through a costume change.

I hydrate myself in the break, excited for what was to play next. The heat in the stadium had gone up after their hot choreography on  Mic drop and So what, the break was much needed to calm my nerves actually.

I was saving the recordings on my phone when I got a message from–Taehyung?

How could he be messaging me now?? he was supposed to be backstage, changing in a rush right now so-why would he text me??

I opened the message as Anna also peeked in out of the same curiosity.

Tae:  Be ready for ur fav ;)

I stared at the text in confusion, not understanding what it meant.

"Woah what does he mean by your fav? plus how is he texting right now?" Anna asked the same query that I had in my mind.

"I have no idea" I mumbled in response.

As we tried decrypting his strange message, the lights and music switched as the break got over, the show resuming again.

I noticed the new set up- They had placed 7 standing mic's, which were now really really close to us, arranged right across.

I opened my phone camera again, happy that I could now record them up close than before. It was so close that I wouldn't even need to zoom in.

The idols walked in again, a dramatic elegant entry as the crowd gasped in amazement, followed by a loud, crazy cheer.

The music began to play, giving me butterflies.

The members stood at their places, but what a coincidence-Taehyung was the closest to us, to be exact-he was standing in our viewpoint , just across us.

I looked up at his face and instantly met his eye.

He was already looking at me, how he had found me in such a big crowd -I had no idea!
He did a little eyebrow raise and I waved back at him, giving him a thumbs up. He smiled and the lights dimmed further . the crowd settled as the song began.

The beats that were playing were for Pied Piper.

My favorite BTS song.

As the realization hit me and Anna, we both looked at Taehyung with shock yet amusement. Again, he caught our eyes and gave us a reassuring smile.

As the performance began, I clutched onto Anna's hand tight because all this was still very hard to believe.

We sang along softly with the members, my heart was bursting with warmth and love for them. I recalled how listening to BTS especially pied piper helped me get through tougher times, times when I would sit in my room and cry all day but the only time would do chores or smile a little was when I played their songs.

I was really thankful to them, so thankful that I can never explain them through words.

The song was almost coming to an end and I was overwhelmed, more so when I saw Jimin walk towards the edge of the stage, singing my favourite lines of the song while his eyes were on me.

"If I'm ruining you right now
Please forgive me
Because I can't live without you
Because you know all of this"

Tears slip down my cheeks again, out of how thankful I am and Anna wipes them off affectionately, squeezing me into a hug.

Taehyung notices me and from his expression, I could tell he figured out that I had been crying.

Jimin and Jungkook were singing the last chorus and in mid , Tae walked over to our side and pointing at me, whispered "Please don't cry" on his mic , making Army go wild over this rare 'Idol-fan' moment.

I chuckled at his innocent remark and he smiled proudly since he eased my mood. He waved to the Armies near me and walked back as the show continued .

The concert came to an end with Answer: love myself , followed by BTS thanking everyone and wishing Armies goodbye- before the fireworks went off in the night sky.
