"Nico!? Nico! NICO!" I heard Persephone yell from the kitchen.
"Yes?" I asked in a slightly annoyed tone as I came out
"Where are my two daughters?" She asked. Glad to be part of the family I thought sarcastically.
"Their still sleeping" I said
"Well, Why are you still standing there?! Make breakfast and bring it up!" She yelled
"I was doing just that before you interpreted" I hissed but she had already turn and briskly walked off.
"What's got her all worked up?" I said before going back to the kitchen. Luckily for me I was almost done when she had called me so I quickly finished then walked up stairs.
I walked into Bianca's room to see Hazel rubbing the sleep out of her eyes while Persephone shook Bianca.
"Bianca! You must wake up!" She yelled
"Wh-what's wrong?" Bianca asked as she also rubbed her eyes.
"Get up! Eat! Get dressed! We don't have time to lose!" Persephone yell
"What is going on?" I asked but she looked right at Hazel as if she had asked
"The Grand Duke is coming! The whole kingdom is talking about it!" She yelled
"Talking about what?" Hazel asked
"The Grand Duke has been hunting all night!" She yelled
"Hunting for what?" Bianca asked
"The person who lost their shoe last night! Everyone's saying he's fallen for them." She said
"The Duke did?" Bianca asked.
"No, they danced with the prince and now he's in love!" She yelled
My eyes got wide "The prince?" I muttered as I threw my hand over my mouth Unfortunately this meant that I also threw the tray of food I was holding and it fell to the ground and the dishes broke.
"You idiot! Clean it up! Then help them find suitable dresses to wear" Persephone said
"Why do we need suitable dresses?" Hazel asked
"You said his in love so why do we need to bother?" Bianca asked
"There a chance that one of you can be the one" Persephone said
"How?" Bianca asked
"Because no one knows who this person is" She said
"Not even the prince? " Hazel asked
"Not even him. All they have is the glass shoe. And the Duke is trying it on everyone. And if it fit then that person will marry the Prince" She said
"Marry?" I muttered as my cheeks started to heat up. I fell into a daze as Persephone started to throw dress at me something about mending but I couldn't focus. All I could do was think of the Prince and how he looked as he was leaning in to kiss me.
"Nico?" Someone called
"Nico!" Someone else called Then someone hit me on the back of my head. I came out of my daze and looked behind me to see Persephone then I loo6in front of me to see my two sisters looking concerned
"Stop daydreaming!" Persephone said
"We need you to hurry up and get these dresses fixed up so that they look nice" she said
"Look nice?" I said dropping the pile of clothes. I then looked down at my clothes.
"Yes. I-I can't met the Duke like this, I have to get dressed in something better" I said walking out of the door. I started walking up to my room while humming the song we sang last night.
"So this is love" I sang then hummed the tone a little I opened my door and walked in.
"Then this is the miracle I-" I started to sing but stopped when the door shut behind me.
"No!" I yelled as I ran to the door. I grabbed the handle right as I heard a click
"No! You can't do this!" I yelled
"You really think I'm going to let you out?" Persephone spat.
"I don't know how you managed to get to the ball last night but I can promise you it was the last time you will ever leave this house!' She yelled
"No! Let me out!" I sobbed as I banged on the door.
"Do you really think the prince will be happy once he finds out your little secret?" Persephone asked
I froze in place as she continued to talk.
"The prince dosen't know who you are. He doesn't know that your a Disgusting Loiter-Sacking Fruit!" She yelled
"I slid down the door as tears fell from me eyes.
"No-No he-he" I tried to say but she cut me off.
"What? He loves you? He doesn't know your a boy dose he? How could he love someone like you?" She said
I tried not to let her words get to me but it was hard. What if she was right? What if he found out I was a boy and then hated me?
"You'll seen see that I'm doing this for the prince sake" she said as I heard her walk away. I fell completely apart. I did nothing but cry. I cried until I couldn't cry anymore then I felt a gentle hand push the hair out of my face. I looked up to see the prince. No my fairy Godmother smile down at me before she vanished. That's when I realized I had to fight for him. And I knew in my heart that he loved me for me not my gender. I got up and looked at the door and smiled Persephone didn't know about my other secret. I then shadow travelled to the other side of the door
