2 hours before the Titans appeared at utguard castle
Male scout: Someone was here, not that long ago
Nanaba: A place close to the wall?
Female scout: Bandits probably used it as a hideout
Nanaba: A sign on the way in, said ruins of utguard Castle. I didn't know there was a historical site around here.
Scout 56: Hey, take a look at what I just stumbled on
Female scout: you're kidding is that what I think it is
Scout 56: Uh huh. Can't really read the label though
Female scout: you're not going to drink it now
Scout 56: don't be smart I'm going to save it for later
He said walking away
Male cadet: You know there are worse ways to spend the night. Then having access to top shelf contraband
Nanaba: careful you're starting to sound like an outlaw
She said laughing a bit
Scout 56: I want you kids to try and get some rest. There shouldn't be any times crawling around at this time at night, but will take turns keeping watch. Ready to leave 4 hours shy of daybreak
Christa: excuse me, what if it turns out that wall roses and actually compromised. Where do you uh where else could they be coming from?
The scout froze trying to find answer until he turned and spoke
Scout 56: It's our job to find out. Starting tomorrow
Christa: I'm just saying, the situation isn't good sure but is as bad as we think. You never know right, that's all
Male scout: She's right. We haven't really seen that many Titans, I mean for them to have busted through the wall anyway
Nanaba: Only with the initial sighting a relatively modest handful.
Ymir turned and looked at the buzz cut boy
Ymir: Connie, what about your village.
Connie: Totally destroyed. It was crushed to tinder and bits of rubble
Ymir looked at her lap then spoke again
Ymir: I...I'm sorry..
Connie: Nobody got devoured though. Look like they all got out so there's a silver lining at least
Ymir: I thought that you said it was destroyed
Connie: Well the house isn't stuff for but the people themselves must have all escaped. I mean they had to of the thing is we didn't see any blood anywhere. Not so much as one drop that's only possible explanation
Ymir paused for a second processing the information Connie said
Connie: still though, something I can't get out of my head There was a tied in on top of her house. Just lying staring at me It couldn't move on its own Thank God... But I just I have no idea why but it reminded me of my mom and my crazy..
Reiner: Connie. What did I tell you, it was your imagination
Ymir: Are you for real
She started laughing like a maniac
Ymir: Actually think your mom might be a Titan. Oh honey as itty bitty as you are,please. We all knew you were dumb as a bag of rocks but this..man this takes a whole other level
