we open to the door's of princess peach's castle suddenly being slammed open by mario who starts dance walking passing by a strange mask merchant who seems unusually happy, the mask merchant follows his movement while chuckling, mario then notices the mask merchant and turns around to face him

mario: hello?

mask merchant: this world has met with a terrible fate hasn't it?

mario obviously confused by the ominous statement

mario: what the hell are you talking about?

mario is then suddenly slammed away by a backdrop in which the mask merchant starts trying to sell a mask

mask merchant: but that's a fate you can avoid when you buy one of my corona virus mask!

the mask merchant suddenly realizes that mario was not listening and was infact going through his bag of masks, mario was throwing away masks that did not interest him but he found a pikachu mask, turning around to show the mask merchant

mario: it's pikachu

the mask merchant then slapped the mask out of his hands angry

mask merchant: those masks are not for sale! i haven't sold any of them ever since...

he then turns around as if remembering something

mask merchant: the incident...

the mask merchant then hears mario humming along to a tune, quickly turning around he finds mario going through his bag again throwing away another mask , which grew arms and legs and walked away while dancing, the mask merchant then picked up mario and started shacking him around giving him a warning

mask merchant: see what you've done! these masks are dangerous and not to be touched!

and with that the mask merchant put mario down and ran after the mask, mario however did not listen and went back to searching through the mask merchants bag finding a mask that really peaked his interest, it turns out to be a mask of himself, mario slowly put the mask on that did...

absolutely nothing, mario then threw the mask to the ground muttering

mario: it's busted

and with that mario ran back into the castle, but then luigi picked up the mask placing the mask on himself decided to imitate his red brother

luigi: look i'm mario, howdy, howdy, howd-

luigi was then cut off and just stood there unmoving, a moment passed before luigi's hat turned red and signature L turned into an M and his mustache

luigi: say im hungry

he then stared backward long jumping to the castle, in the castle we see a sofa and on that sofa was meggy reading a news paper (Y/N) sharpening his sword, and a melon with meggy's beanie and headphones called melony while a axolotl creature was trying to convince the melon of something
