But the winter prince did not flinch a single hair on his skin. Instead he just gave the demon a pathetic look.

"Wow! You're a fu**ing imbecile you know! This is just insulting! Maybe it was a wrong move to join your cause in the first place!" Yalex started rambling and Samuel couldn't help but laugh at his reactions.

He didn't know that Yalex knows how to be funny too. He expects the demon to be mischievous and evil all the time like a devil he is.

Besides, his power over time does not mean he can also see how people thinks in their minds to know what kind of person they really are.
He can only see their past and what they'll do in the future.

"Alright! You are nice because you're here! But you're still badass for being a demon!" Samuel chuckled just to shut up the whining demon beside him.

It's very unlikely to see Yalex like this. And it makes Samuel thinks that Yalex is comfortable enough with him to the point he can show this side of him.
It makes Samuel very happy that he's doing well of making friends with a demon. A powerful one at that.

"Sh*t! Let's go. Let's go..."

Samuel and Yalex were distracted upon hearing Blue's panicked whispers. He sounded shocked and was talking to someone.

Samuel furrowed his brows and zoned out for a few while. Seeing what will happen next. Yalex didn't know this kind of habit of Samuel so he thought the winter prince malfunctioned and frozed.

"Hey! What happened to you!" Yalex started wiggling Samuel while holding him on his shoulder. Samuel wasn't responding at all and he looked like a robot.

"Bloody hell! Time stopped! Hey! Did you stop!? Can I kill my nephew now? Hey!" Yalex wouldn't stop yelling at Samuel's ears. And eventually started posing threats to him thinking Samuel could be just faking it.

"Alright. I'm going to kill Trevor now! It's your fault if he dies. Holy sh*t! Look! He's coming here! This is my chance!"

"Are you a lunatic, stupid or both!?" Yalex jumped in surprise when Rhian appeared beside him with a grimacing frown on her face.

"This stupid winter boy malfunctioned! I think time has stopped!" Yalex exclaimed with an exaggerated tone while pointing a finger at Samuel.

"Fu**ing hell! Look at his eyes! It's blue!!!" Yalex half-yelled when he finally noticed the blue eyes which has been there since Samuel started zoning out.

"Wow! And here I thought you know everything." Rhian said while looking at him disbelief and shaking her head.

Yalex simply raised a brow at him. Waiting to explain why she doesn't look so surprised.

"He only looks like he's zoning out but he's actually currently seeing every possible futures right now." Rhian explained and Yalex gasped while covering his mouth.

"Fu**! I didn't know a demon can also be an id**t!" Rhian laughed and was about to receive smack from the demon when Samuel finally flickered his eyes.

"This is interesting! You can see ghosts right?" Samuel asked as he looked at Yalex directly who was looking at him as if he was a mannequin who suddenly spat a word.

"Come on! I think Blue is about to send off a little girl to the afterlife!" Samuel said with excitement and jogged further into the garden while pulling Yalex and Rhian behind him.

The three hid behind a huge bush when they found Blue sitting on an old and unused fountain. He looked like he's talking to someone but it's only him in there.

"A little girl..." Yalex said while watching Blue talk to the little girl who is actually a ghost.

Blue was about to walk her to the light earlier but the light faded because of Yalex and Samuel's sudden arrival at the garden.

So Blue had to search for the light path again for the little kid. And when he found it, the kid got scared to go by herself and wanted Blue to come with him.

"I once had a friend like Blue. He couldn't resist a little boy pleading my friend to come. So you know what I did? I kicked the ghost to where my friend said the door was." Yalex whispered at the two as he started laughing quietly. Rhian and Samuel could only shake their heads.

"Oh look! I think she's leaving!" Yalex suddenly said and both Samuel and Rhian turned back to look at Blue.

He stood up and walked a bit to his left. A gentle smile painted on his face as he let his hands forward as if someone was holding it.

A few seconds later and he retrieved his hand and started waving while saying 'Goodbye and good luck. Stay safe.'

Blue sighed and was about to go back to his room when the three suddenly appeared, blocking his path.

"See? You're doing your job just fine!" Samuel said to him happily and Blue raised a brow at him.

"He meant your job as the 'angel of death!" Yalex said in sarcasm and rolled his eyes.

"Oh! So this is what Trevor was dying to explain to me!" Blue chuckled and let out a small laugh.

Rhian could feel something weird. She could feel some sort of butterflies when she saw him smile and exposing his white perfect teeth. Especially when he laughed. It sounded like little cute cherubims singing with their harps in a perfect harmony.

Rhian didn't know she had been dazed out for long and Yalex is starting to be weirded out.

"Geez! I think the vampire malfunctioned too!" Yalex grimaced and started walking back to the house with Samuel. The time keeper is too busy laughing at Rhian's reaction. He knew exactly she'll react like that and it felt funny to see the reaction come to life.

It looks adorable for both Blue and Rhian. The cause and effect that they have for each other.

I can't believe I'm so spoiled.
Samuel whined in his mind.
