I actually forgot to upload a chapter, so this is actually supposed to go at the beginning as chapter 1, sorry about that, but after a while I will move it to the start! ; )

Oh and remember this is some months before she is on the bridge, just so you know!

Suvy's POV

DREAM:

I spun round and faced her shocked face, mid fall, as though she knew what I had to say.

"He loved me more!" I screamed. Her eyes flamed as I plunged into the depths, enveloped by the rising and falling swell of water. Every second my heart hurt more and more, in longing. I sent a death wish to John.

'Let me see you one last time!' I pleaded in my head. And then his beautiful head lunged at me through the swirling air bubbles that I had condembed to doom by taking them down here with me, forced to dance in the multi-coloured blue. He didn't seem to be trying to save me, more dragging me down than helping me out. He pressed his warm, soft lips to mine in an eternal embrace.

STILL A DREAM

My eyes fluttered open and my breath scraped at my throat and lungs just like the rough, dirty walls down the alleyway scratched my bare arms as I pushed myself to my limits to get to safety. But my pursuer saw no stopping and starting point. This was his purpose. There was no safety for me anymore; I ran into a dead-end.

This was a dream: I couldn't run fast enough, there were dead-ends where there shouldn't be and the quietness behind me was destruction. But it wasn't a dream. As I sat down, my back curving against the wall and arching with my every rasping breath, I had hope. Hope that I would see his face again and he would be my last thought.

My greatest love came into view through the misty gloom that hung over the dark, rusty buildings. He smiled but it wasn't his smile. He leered over me as the moonlight shone through a gap in the mist, lighting his beautiful face in a pearly glow.

'Hello Zoey. You do look dashing tonight.'

His perfect, velvet voice sounded strange as my eyes scoured his face, remembering every lovely detail. As my eyes met his I gasped. They were black. No, they were night. My amazing love had night in his eyes; even stars. The golden face loomed even closer to mine. I had accepted that he didn't love me as he had told me, that he would have to kill me or be killed and I would gladly pay that price for him. I was frozen with fear as I realized that this...man wasn't my love, another being perhaps...maybe this was all a lie and my Archangel...

'IS my love, as I am his...' I chocked on my last breath.A huge pain seemed to be ripping me apart and there was light everywhere as I blacked out.

END OF DREAM.

My eyes shot open, I was drenched in sweat and was shaking from head to toe. I had no idea where that dream came from or who John was but it was very mysterious and I like adventures. Not the kind where you go off and have fun but the kind where you read about it and feel glad that your not there. I rubbed my hands in my eyes, rubbing out the dregs of sleep left from hours of unconsciousness. I sat up and ran a hand though my hair, sad for missing the lovely in-between time when you just wake up and can think anything is possible. There was a droning sound that seemed to be not random but kept going in and out of clarity so it was hard to concentrate on. I lifted my gaze to the sorce of the droning, which seemed a to be of a higher pitch now. Someone was talking and it was obviously to me, so I forgot my dream for the moment and concentrated on finding out that my 'mother' was creating the incessant droning.

She was standing at the bottom of my bed and seemed to be talking to me, but it was one of those nag talks so i just stood up, teetering precariously while getting used to being vertical, and stalked out the room. I didn't bother talking to her any more, even if you're adopted and forced to be related by the law, it doesn't mean that you have parents. If the only way you get attention or even noticed is when your supposed mother and father show of how decent they are by spending their money and (not) 'time' with a delinquent to all their friends then that's not parenting, it's selfish. What really annoys me is that they always moan about their 'beautiful' friends during the seven o'clock news, it's my favourite programme.

I stumbled down the manor's huge stairs that curled into the entrance hall and grabbed a pop tart from the kitchen before heading back up to my room, glad to find that She had left. The hot strawberry jam scolded my mouth and squished out onto my lips but I just licked them and went into my walk-in closet. Getting dressed quickly in a plain outfit of washed-out jeans, a blue hoody and navy converse I caught sight of my reflection in my mirror and was shocked at how dishevelled my appearance was. Quickly running a brush through my long brown hair that reached my waist and brushed mascara on my eyes. I had a Hispanic complexion but my strangely brought blue eyes stood out and contacted against my pale golden brown skin.

People find it unnerving but I love my eyes, they make me stand out from the average high-school 17 year old. I hurried down the stairs and grabbed my bag then shoved door open and jumped into my waiting ride.
