Shuichi groaned as he sat up in bed, he yawned and got up, rubbing his eyes as he slugged to the kitchen to make coffee, once he got coffee he went back to his room and grabbed the letter that he was given, he read it multiple times before sighing and going to the living room, he looked out the window to see another detective he had worked with before, kokichi Ouma. Kokichi was really good at what he does, he's like a living lie detector, Ouma had a trashbag over his shoulder, which was a bit odd, especially since Ouma didn't live anywhere near Shuichi's house, so Shuichi went outside

"Hey!! Ouma!!" Saihara waved at Ouma

Ouma looked at Shuichi froze, he smiled "Hey Detective Saihara!!"

"What are you doing!?"

"Just going to my friend's place!"

"What's in the bag?!"

"Her stuff!!"

Shuichi chuckled a little and rolled his eyes "good luck with her!"

"Haha! Thanks Shuichi!!"

Kokichi then took off down the road laughing and giggling about something, Saihara went inside and plopped on the couch before sighing and turning the TV on, the news was on.

"BREAKING NEWS!!
There's a missing girl named yumeno himiko, if you find her please call 110-" the news continued on to some other stuff like cases Saihara and Amami did.

Shuichi sighed and looked at the letter that was siting on the table,he read it over again

"I'm not doing this for fun,it's for revenge"

That sentence sat in Shuichi's mind before he got an idea, he went his bedroom and sat at his desk, he got a piece of paper and started to write

"To the prince of blood,

This is detective Shuichi Saihara. I'm writing to you to ask a few questions, what did they do to you? Why do you need revenge? Why kill them? Do you have trauma? What color are your eyes (feel free to not answer that last one). Please write me back! I won't tell anyone about this, it can be our little secret..

Sincerely,
Detective Saihara"

Shuichi set his pen down and folded the paper, he got dressed in some more formal clothes before running off to the place he found Angie's body, he left the note there and went home, he silently hoped he would get an answer back, through he felt bad for hiding what he was doing but it was what he believed was right, "sometimes" he thought "you must do things solo." And with that though in mind, Shuichi sat on his couch and watched movies for the rest of the day, He eventually fell asleep on the couch wrapped in a blanket
