Part 9: Tournament Arc?

Ryuga chuckled, "Bring it."

Koyomi grunted as she got to her feet, and she brought her tails around to the front, opening her mouth as energy gathered from her surroundings.

Ryuga's smile faltered as he saw that, "Wait... Don't tell me..."

The mischievous glint in Koyomi's eyes told him everything, and the energy condensed into a giant sphere.

Yes, at the Yogoe princess' mouth, was Bijuudama.

The fox let it loose at the Gundam, and Ryuga quickly shot upwards. But to his surprise, the sphere swerved and followed him upwards.

The young hero yelped when he saw that, "It's a fucking homing Bijuudama! What the fuck?!"

He willed the Gundam to fly faster, but the Bijuudama was still on his tail, no pun intended. Ryuga cursed, before an idea came to mind.

As soon as he reached a certain altitude, the Gaia Gundam switched to its mobile armor form, and Ryuga quickly aimed its two cannons and the beam rifle at the sphere, and he fired.

The beams all struck the sphere, but they simple split and flowed behind it. But fortunately, that wasn't what Ryuga wanted to do, the beams were to simply slow it down, and they did the job splendidly.

As the sphere slowed down before him, the Gundam folded both wings upwards, such that they were both vertical and parallel to each other, and he flipped, spinning vertically.

The beam sabers slammed onto the giant sphere of energy, sending it back to the fox, and Alice's eyes widened, "Wait... Nononono!"

The three bystanders ran, as Koyomi used her tails to push the Bijuudama back, only for it to shrink a tiny bit, causing the fox to widen her eyes.

Then it exploded.

Fortunately, Koyomi made it so that while huge, it didn't pack that much power, and the worst that came from it was the scorched ground, and Koyomi with light bruises.

The Gaia Gundam landed, as the Yogoe princess reverted to her human form, and Ryuga too dispelled the Gundam.

The auburn haired girl pouted at him, "That was mean."

The young hero deadpanned, "You threw a freaking bomb at me."

Koyomi paused. He did make a point, and she smiled, "Touché."

Ryuga sighed and shook his head in exasperation, "Seriously..."

The auburn haired girl dusted her dress, "Well, that's that, and I'm pretty satisfied with what I saw."

The young man scratched the back of his head. Yeah, he definitely shouldn't mention that he had gotten much more stronger units, especially after the battle with the enhanced wyvern.

It had bumped up his level to 40, and that had unlocked a ton load of units. The Freedom Gundam, Justice Gundam, 00 Gundam (without the 0 Raiser), the Durandal, Lucifer and even Aquarion, just to name a few.

There were more of them on his list, but he hadn't had the time to go through all of them. Which brought a terrifying thought to his mind. The Aquarion was on the borderline between the Super Robot type and Real Robot type, if he got that, then he dreaded what people would think when he officially unlocked and brought out the Super Robots.

God knows how they'd react when seeing the Getter or Mazinger units.

The young man shook his head mentally, focusing on the present as Koyomi asked, "So, what was that armor called?"
