My life was going to take a turn. In about two hours I had to reach airport. My whole family was exhausted by the chaos in our house. I was nervous on whole next level. For the first time in my life I was going to travel to a really big city alone where I know no one, had no idea how I am going to survive there but deep down I was excited to be away from my house, from my messed up family, but I was going to miss them, I was -

"So you ready for leaving?"

A voice brought me back from my thoughts, it was my sister's voice my favourite sister whom I was going to miss a lot. Grace's voice. "yeah, I am done."

I said in a tired voice. "great!" she tried to sound excited but I knew she was sad that I was leaving. Of course she'd be sad we were twins, we loved each other most. But we were completely opposite of each other, she was really beautiful with big brown eyes, sharp nose, black silky straight hair and she was really funny, cool, the biggest introvert I've ever seen and I was a little taller than her different looking average girl with really dark eyes and a little curly dark brown hair and I don't have a good sense of humour, clumsiness 100%, really awkward and nervous and I will count myself an ambivert.

Hours passed in haze, I was on airport. I've said my good byes and was in airplane. I was sitting on the window seat, an old lady came sat in the seat beside me, she noticed that I was nervous and really...awkward. "first time in a plane?"

she asked, concern in her voice. "No.." I wanted to sound confident but it came out awkwardly. "its okay, you'll be okay...by the way I am Sally Waterhouse. You can call me aunt Sally, and you are?"

it was kind of sweet that she tried to make me comfortable but I was still really awkward. "Um.. my name is Faith Solace." I said hesitantly. Flight was not as bad as I expected it to be, thanks to aunt Sally I didn't get time to get bored.

I landed in Chicago, America, headed straight to my college, my residence was in dorms of my college. I entered the college and it was HUGE, I was mesmerised by the exterior of the institute. I went to the office to let them know that I had arrived. The receptionist was middle aged woman with blonde hair and cat eye shaped bottle green glasses. "how can I help you?"

She sounded bored. "Hi, I am Faith Solace from Utah and I am here for my junior year and I applied for a scholarship." I said. "let me check... yeah your dorm number is 4 and there will be five other students with you, and if you have a job at college then your books and fee and everything will be free and you'll also earn enough money to fulfil your necessity." "What kind of jobs are there?"

"you can work for cafe, library--"

"I am okay with library!" I said a little excitedly. She smiled and said "your classes will be from 9 am to 1 pm and then 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm will be your job." I was happy with the timings. " Yeah great, thanks!" and then I left to find dorms.

Dorms were exactly how I imagined them, luxurious and neat. I opened the door with the key, receptionist gave me and peeked inside, it was empty. Empty in a sense no people but it was completely furnished. I was taking a look of the dorm and I tripped over a carton. "Hey!! Is somebody there?"

a girl asked, she sounded worried. She came out from one of the rooms on the ground floor. She was a pretty face, blonde hair which barely touched her shoulders. Her eyes were grey. She was wearing denim shorts with a white tank top and sneakers. I felt really overdressed in front of her, wearing blue skinny jeans and white button down shirt tucked just on left part with black high ankles.

"Hey! Its Piper Ingram, and I am one of your dorm mates." She said cheerfully. "hello, I am Faith Solace and... nice to meet you!" I knew we were going to be good friends, I liked her. "Well you can have a detour of the dorm but let me give you a description. So there's like a lounge and right next to it is kitchen and there are six bedrooms, two in the left of lounge then there are two more rooms on the right of stairs and two rooms on the first floor and a rooftop." She said in an excited tone. "What about bathrooms?" I asked. "three bathrooms, two people will have to share and you can choose from five rooms because I've chosen mine." She said as a matter of fact, then her expressions changed to excitement.

"come!! I'll show you my room!" she dragged me to the left of lounge. Her room was really small with a single bed, built in closet and a mirror on the wall. It looked comfortable. "isn't it cute? So small, so adorable."

Really? She was happy because it was small?

She understood my expression and said "my parents are quite rich, so I've had big, BIG rooms whole my life and to be honest I didn't like big rooms." I liked her even more now.

I surveyed every room but the moment I stepped in the bedroom of the first floor, I knew this room was going to be mine because it had a bookshelf, a freaking bookshelf. I had brought all my books in a big carton. It also had built in closet a mirror and a little bigger bed than single bed.

I was happy with it. I settled my stuff and was done with all the work. I took a quick shower and changed in a t-shirt which had 'hey!' written on it and a lower.
