I stood up, looking at Elijah "I guess you right"

I crossed my arms, squinting my eyes at him
"I guess you know a lil something"
"Don't try to play me like I'm slow. I'm smarter than you think"

Elijah flashed a smile before rubbing his chin
"Why you lookin like that?" He asked and I shrugged
"Ion know what you talkin bout"
"But you do though"
Again, I rolled my eyes
"Lemme take you in a date" he blurted out
" huh?"
"You heard me. Lemme take you on a date. Shit. You and Kaleia"
I cracked a smile
"That's cool"
"I'm serious lani"
"My daughter too?"
Elijah nodded
"Okay then. If you serious"
"I am. Ain it Kaleia"
She smiled looking up at him and I shook my head

My ass sitting here tryina play the cool auntie and all I get is the lesson to never have kids. I volunteered to keep Hendrix, Kyran and Jr tonight and when I tell you the three of them together was not the smartest decision.. I mean it. Lowkey I'm kinda glad kinsley and Brielle attached to their daddies cause I would've really went fuckin crazy
"Jay, Ky bad" Hendrix laughed as I tried to get them settled down to watch a movie. I even ordered pizza, wings and had a whole lot of snacks for them to eat.
"Ky is not bad"
"Yes he is"
I fixed the pajamas Kyran wore before sitting him on the floor beside Hendrix and jr and he instantly got up, moving to the couch
"Oh you too good to sit with the other boys?" I asked and he slouched in the chair while looking at me
"Ky come on" Hendrix called for him
"I don't think Ky wanna sit with y'all"
"Cause Ky stuck up" jr told Hendrix while I sat the box of pizza in front of him
"Okay y'all bout to stay off my nephew. He not bothering nobody"
"He bother me Jay" Hendrix pointed to himself
"How he bothered you?"
"Cause..."
"You don't even know do you?"
He shook his head and jr laughed
"Alright thing one and thing two" I grabbed the remote and started the movie "now y'all gotta act like y'all in the movies and be quiet"
"My daddy be loud in the movies" jr told me while grabbing one of my wings
"That's cause yo daddy ain got no home training.. and them wings hot"
"I like hot wings"
"But they HOT hot"
"Ain nothing too hot for me"
"Alright then"
Jr confidently bit into the wing and started chewing. Not even a few seconds later his face bawled up and both me and Hendrix laughed. Even Kyran laughed
"Jr face ugly" Hendrix cracked and jr sat the wing down
"I thought it wasn't to hot for you?"
"Ima tell my momma you tryina kill me"
"Boy ain nobody tryina kill you"
He grabbed a napkin to wipe his tongue off "I don't want it nomore"
"Give it to ky, jr" Hendrix told him and I shook my head
"No y'all don't"
Jr didn't listen, instead he ripped off a piece of chicken from the wing and reached it out to Kyran
"Here ky"
Kyran looked at jr some type of way and slowly reached his arm out to grab it, looking at jr sideways before finally grabbing it
"Kyran gone beat yall ass"
"Ky gone cry, watch" jr gave an evil grin
Kyran put the chicken in his mouth and started to chew it while the three of us looked at him. I guess he realized we were looking so he stopped chewing, staring back at us and I SWEAR he rolled his eyes before chewing again
"Why he not crying yet?" Jr asked and I watched as he looked at the tv, still chewing then eventually side eyed us before looking at the tv again. Once he swallowed he stuck his hand out, I guess wanting more
"I guess you can give him the rest of your chicken then" I told jr so he did and Kyran started eating it "that's a shame that one year old can handle a hot wing and you can't"
"That's cause Ky bad. He badder than me"
"Yeah, Ky bad" Hendrix said, following behind jr
"No yall the bad ones" I told them as Kyran ignored them, enjoying his chicken while watching tv
