Chapter 9 the ark of Taujeer

"Ok, it is similar to a Galra locator, we understand" I said with the most obvious explanation and with less confusing words

"And where are the galra supposed to be?" Ally asked, looking at the holographic map 

Pidge pulled out some coordinates that showed the planet closest to us "The closest are here. A planet called Taujeer" She pointed

"So that's where we're headed. must sleep, tomorrow we'll all search for the Galra fleets" Shiro ordered

Everyone left the room, but before I left, I quickly glanced at Keith who was the only one who stayed behind with Shiro, he seemed somewhat anxious and extremely confused on a specific topic.

It was no secret that he was always on the alert, even when I found him following me at Galra's base, he seemed to be married to his weapon, but for some strange reason I was curious as to why he seemed so stressed now.

"Raya?" Ally's voice pulled me out of my thoughts, making me look at her "aren't you coming? I thought you were tired "

I shook my head and continued on my way, trying to forget about that curiosity "I was just thinking" I clarified, feeling Ally's confused look.

Before continuing on my way, I noticed that Raya stopped following us and just stood there, looking at something with great curiosity. I silently moved closer to his side, discovering that he was looking directly at Keith with confusion and concern?

I looked at the two of them curiously, before calling her out, releasing her from her hypnotic state. "Raya? aren't you coming? I thought you were tired "

Raya shook his head slightly and continued on his way "I was just thinking" she said, although something told me that that was not the reason why he looked at Keith with such concentration

I looked back at Keith, who was talking about something with Shiro, without him noticing that Raya was looking at him a few seconds ago or maybe he noticed and decided to ignore him. I followed Raya with an accusing look, trying to find some explanation for his suspicious attitude.

Obviously, she noticed my constant gaze, of course, it wasn't that I was hiding it either.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" She asked, arching an eyebrow

"Why are you looking at Keith so much?" I answered with another question, tilting me head to the side. At that moment, I saw how Raya's body instantly tensed, as a chill ran through her

She spent a few seconds in silence before rolling her eyes and shaking her head.

"What? I was not looking at Keith, I was just looking at the stars and he just crossed my sight "she clarified, although it was obviously a lie.

I crossed my arms and arched an eyebrow.  I could be ten years, but I was no fool"Raya, I saw you, your eyes were fixed on him" I remembered, trying to get her to accept it, but again, she denied it.

"Don't be silly Ally"

I rolled my eyes "you were obviously looking at him, you were looking at him as if he were the only person in the whole room, almost as if you were ..."

Suddenly I understood, clicking my head instantly, the way she was looking at him, it was exactly how the couples I used to see at home looked at each other after a romantic night or some night of reconciliation

I put my hands together with a big smile "as if you were in love with him, you are in love with Keith!" I concluded, unable to contain a small high-pitched tone at the end
