Stalking

Brett walks up to the front door knocking twice and stepping back waiting for someone to answer

"Can I help you. Oh wait your from the other pack. It Brett right?" Melissa says as she opens the door

"Yeah it is. Is Scott here?" Brett asks rocking back and forth on his feet. He didn't like talking to new people that much.

"Yeah he's upstairs. Come on in" she says stepping back to let him in. He looks around as he walks inside. Their house wasn't huge but only two of them lived there so it was understandable.

"SCOTT SOMEONES HERE TO SEE YOU" Melissa yells up the stairs

"IM COMING" Scott yells back as two pairs of feet make their way down the stairs.

"Oh Isaac I didn't know you were here" Melissa smiles at the taller boy

"Brett? what are you doing here?" Scott says turning to face Brett

"I needed to talk to you. But if your busy then I'll come back another time." Brett says begging to turn for the door

"No it's ok we're not busy come on" Scott says motioning for Brett to follow him and Isaac back to his room. Once in Scotts room Isaac makes himself comfortable on the bed while Scott closes the door

"So what's up?" Scott says turning to face Brett

"Well I'm pretty sure Liam hates me. I went to do my daily check up on him last night and when he was asleep he was moving a lot more saying my name and growling. And when he came to mine yesterday he was really mad. I followed him this morning out into the forest." Brett explains, Isaac just watches curiously not saying anything

"Well he's definitely mad at you for marking him and... wait. You followed him and watched him sleep. Dude that's kind of like stalking." Scott says raising an eyebrow

"Well it's kind of a mate thing, he was mad so it was instinct to make sure he was ok" Brett defends

"Well maybe you should give him space, I'm sure there's an explanation. And he probably went to the Forrest because it's the full moon tonight, he's still trying to learn to control it and it's probably effecting him." Scott reassures him. Brett just nods before looking between the two others

"So are you two mates or what" he asks

"What no. I mean not that we know of" Isaac finally speaks

"Well you do spend a lot of time together so I was just questioning" Brett says "well never mind, I better get going. See ya" He heads for downstairs closing Scott's door behind him. He spots Melissa in the kitchen "bye Miss McCall" Brett waves as he leaves.

They think I'm stalking him? It's not stalking i just follow him places to make sure he's ok but I don't talk to him I just watch from a distance. Oh shit. I'm stalking him. Brett begins to panic. Shit Liam can't know he's already mad at me, he'll kill me!
He was so lost in thought he didn't realise his sister running up to him, he was caught completely of guard when she runs into him and falls on the ground (A/N I feel like this didn't make sense but idk how to fix it so just to clarify Lori fell on the ground)

"Woah what the hell!" Brett yells at her

"Ouch" she says rubbing her head "you Walked into me!" She yells back

"No you ran into me!" He defends, crossing his arms and looking away

"Well pay attention. What were you thinking about?" She giggles "ooooo you were thinking about Liiaaamm" she taunts

"Shut up no I wasn't. Plus he's my mate so even if I was I can't help it" he snaps back

"Jeez I was only joking" she says standing up brushing off her knees

"You wouldn't understand you don't know your mate" He says finally looking at her. He only looks at her for a second before walking away.

"Asshole" she mutters before continuing her run

A/N sorry this chapter wasn't great but I wanted to begin to talk about Scisaac more I'll probably do something similar for all the mates. Anyway hope you enjoyed!  😁
