It was already dark when both Yoohyeon and Minji silently walked towards the former's home. There's just so many unspoken feelings that needed to be told. But both their company was enough to feel the presence of each other.

It was rather a comfortable silence, despite the hurt caused by an unfortunate event that happened four years ago. Maybe it was the longing that speaks to temporarily forget the pain of the past.

"Yoohyeon... uhm" Minji started as Yoohyeon quickly turned her head at the girl beside her as she hummed in response. She waited for her to say next but she can sense that the girl was tense so, she held Minji's hand in comfort whom the latter was stunned at the sudden gesture of the girl. Yoohyeon made her feel at ease. Made. But somehow, after all these years, she still makes her at ease.

"uhm... sorry I shouldn't have" Yoohyeon quickly let go of her hand and fasten her pace giving a little distance from the surprised Minji. One time she said her nickname and now this.

"What are you doing, Yoohyeon?! The fuck was that?!"

"This is not like before, Yoohyeon. You hurt the girl and you're leading her on!"

"But I can't help it"

"I still fucking love her"

Her train of thoughts as she cursed at herself were interrupted by a little tap on her shoulders and a panting from the girl. She spun around and was only caught up staring straight at Minji's worried orbs.

"Yah! Don't leave me like that, Yoohyeon. You okay?" Minji asked worriedly. Yoohyeon widened her eyes at the mention of the word 'leave'.

"Why are you like this, Minji?" Yoohyeon asked almost in a whisper. She wondered why this girl she always loved who she ended up caused pain in her heart was still clinging to her like nothing happened. She should've hated her to the point she didn't want to see nor be near at her presence.

As Minji was about to respond, unexpectedly, rain poured hard as well Minji's tears falling along with the raindrops. Even herself, could not be mad at Yoohyeon. She just did not know the reason why.

As much as Yoohyeon wanted some answers, she took Minji's wrist and dragged her running towards her home. Not even looking at the girl who she definitely knew who was crying that she was unaware, she was crying as well.

They were in front of Yoohyeon's house as the sound of the keys jingling occupied Minji's mind, staring at Yoohyeon's back as her hands were still holding her wrist. Part of her was relieved.

"I'll just take towels" Yoohyeon hurriedly said the moment the door was open, leaving Minji in her wide living room. Yoohyeon's house was huge but emptiness was felt.

"You were just like me just like what you said and I understood now" Minji bitterly smiled, remembering Yoohyeon's weird way to give her some time to have fun. The moment where she was dragged into the club out of her own will. Yoohyeon was crazy, but she love this crazy woman.

She widened her eyes as she scanned the living room, spotting a photo of them clinging to each other after Minji's confession and Yoohyeon confidently asked her to be his girlfriend as she did not hesitate to accept to be hers. Yoohyeon was all smiles while Minji was hiding her face on the former's neck, blushing all the way.

"Hopefully we can go back..." Minji whispered as she held the photo frame, smiling widely. But then...

THUNDER STRIKES...

And it reminded her of the sound of a gunshot. Bullet buried right through her left shoulder.

"YOOHYEON!!!" she screamed out her name as if it was a fresh memory. It was too fresh that she remembered Yoohyeon fighting for her life as she struggled to breathe from Arnold's strangle under the pouring rain. But using her strength she pushed Arnold so hard and fell to the ground. Instead of thinking of herself, Yoohyeon looked at her in so much worry as Minji badly wounded her left leg. Yoohyeon tried to lift her but then she saw Arnold getting up with a gun on his hand that flew a while back, aiming at Yoohyeon's back. Seeing this, she quickly pushed away from Yoohyeon's embrace and catch the bullet right through her shoulders.

.

"Minji!!! I'm here!" the last words she heard from the Yoohyeon as she lost consciousness.

She knelt from the tragic memory as she hugged herself, crying and yelling out Yoohyeon's name wherein the latter quickly got out from her room and went to Minji, embracing her.

"Minji, I'm here..." she reassured, seeing the broken photo frame on the ground. Another thunder strikes were heard and Minji was evidently shaking from fear hearing it, as she tightened her hug as if she was protecting her.

"You should get dressed or you'll catch a cold" Yoohyeon said, as she assisted the shivering girl to her room. This was their first meet up after a very long time and seeing Minji so scared, made her heart broke into pieces because deeply she knew that she was the reason of it all.

Yoohyeon pull away from the girl as she was trying to reach a towel inside her cabinet but then Minji just tightened her grip from the girl as if she needed support.

"please, just stay for a while...." Minji said in her shaking voice. Yoohyeon could not help but to follow and embracing her arms around the girl.
