"I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow." I don't know what I meant when I said it. Did it even have a point or was it just something I said to change the subject?

'Meet my family?'

The question sounded desperate like it was more of a need than a want.

He pulls me close to him, my breast hurting a little as they press against his chest. "Let me go with you." I hear the pleading in his voice. I want so badly to say no, to tell him he missed the most important appointments so he doesn't get to go to this one. That he's late, too late to be able to experience them or have any pride in this.

When I look into his eyes again, blue, I'm pulled into him and wonder if I had brought up the appointment so that he would ask this very question. I look at his chin and nod.  "Thank you." And then in one swift moment he moves me on top of him and I'm kissing him.

The kiss is light and breathy and I'm reminded why I need to stay away from Dalton. His hand goes into my hair and begins rubbing my scalp ever so slightly, my hands go to his chest. His body had changed, bigger and broader in areas, but more manly instead of the boyish body I remember. I pull away, remembering that night.

His hand stays in my hair keeping me close, I look at him and see the first moment that he opens his eyes. "Now what?" the lump in his throat moves up and down.

"Movie?" My voice is quiet as if I have never used it before.

"Okay." We don't move, we just lay there, looking into each other's eyes, it feels like he can see my soul. He started to beam. "I like this too, you know, I like looking at you." I allow myself a few more seconds to look into his eyes.

I sit up, "I can't believe I almost married you, you are so cheesy."

"If you think this is cheesy just wait until I get you into my room at home."

"What's in your room at home?"

He shrugged, "Guess you'll have to go and find out."

"Do you want to watch, Divergent, Maze runner? Or wait! They have big hero 6 too!" I jump off the couch trying to get away from the jitters he's given me.

"I don't care, I haven't seen any of them I have seen Hunger games though." He lets out a whistle of the classic call and he props himself up onto his elbow.

I turn around, "What really? They are all so good!" I won't tell him that a lot of them I only saw because I was alone in my room sobbing.

"Well, which one is your favorite? I want to watch the one you liked best."

I pick at my nail polish thinking, "Okay, but you have to promise not to laugh."

He laughed as if on command, "Why would I laugh? Is the movie funny, or silly?"

"It's just, there is this part and....ugh! I can't tell you, just promise me when I start ugly crying you won't laugh okay?" He grinned and nodded.

As the previews begin I walk back over to the couch. Dalton has sat up and motions for me to sit in between his legs, I get comfortable and he slings his left arm over my shoulder to gate me into him. I grabbed a couch pillow before relaxing into him.

"This feels like a date," I said

"Do you want it to be? It can be, it can count."

"Yeah, I think I'd like to call it a date."

I felt his breath on my neck as he kissed it and whispered, "Me too."

"No kissing, we have to watch the movie, it's sooooo good!"
