Saturday 1:45 am

I drove a different route to my house checking my rearview mirror to see if I was being followed

I turned on a lane heading to my house when I saw a car following me I pulled my gun from my waist as I slowed down

The car drove passed and the driver hunk his horn at me I realized then that it was Kevin from down the street he was also at the party

I relaxed a bit and rest the gun in my lap and look over at Aria to see if she was okay.

Her eyes was wide with fright looking at me as she held her bleeding hand in my kerchief

"Relax babe everything is okay" I told her

"You have a gun? how did you get a gun? what are you doing with a gun Theo?" She asked nervously

"It's for protection Aria and it's licensed so calm down" I told her

"Calm down! I should calm down I've never seen you with a gun before"

"Because there were no reason for you to see me with one then" I told her checking the rearview mirror again before slowly driving off

"Is this a reason? Will you hurt him?" She asked

"If he cross my path again I will have to, I don't take intimidation lightly and mi na gi nuh bowy my three point easily either" I told her honestly

I feel her eyes on me as I drove to my house but she didn't say anything else

She took a shower and I brought her a first aid kit and dressed her  fingers

I then went to take a shower calming my nerves.

"Was that him who has been calling you?" I asked entering the room with a towel wrapped around my waist

"Yes but I only took his call once telling him to stop calling me then I blocked him but he keep using different numbers calling and texting me, I'm sick of it I don't even know how he got my number" she told me

She was wearing one of my oversize shirt and one of my underpants

She curled up on the bed in a ball

"Get yuh number change in the morning" I told her

"Okay" she replied quietly

I went to the closet and put on a plain white polo t-shirt and a pale green shorts

"I don't feel comfortable with you working at the bar either" I calmly said after leaving the closet

"I've never been comfortable with it from beginning to be honest" I added

She was silent for a minute looking into space

"I'm not comfortable with it either but it's my only source of income right now until I get another job" she then said

"Let me be your source of income babe let me take care of you"

"Move in with me" I finally voice my thoughts that I discussed with Wayne last night.

She sat up on the bed now steering at me like I've grown two heads

"I don't want to be taken care of Theo I want to earn my own income. I don't like feeling dependent" she said looking at me

"And for living with you I..."

"Please don't say no to that either just think about it at least" I said cutting her off

She sighed

"Okay I'll think about it but I can't promise you the answer you want to hear because I don't know if we are quite ready for that step" she quietly said

"I know I am ready for it, I want you to be the first person I see when I wake up and the last person I see before going to bed"  I told her meaning every words

We held eye contact for a while before she break it

"Okay I'll think about it" she finally said

" Aria mi really nuh wa deh out a di county or in another city and get nuh call seh da bowy deh come round a bar come fuck wid yuh enuh, mi nuh want yuh go back a work round deh"

"Him na go do mi nothing Theo" she said

"Mi nuh trust dat, mi nuh trust him and mi nuh want him round yuh"

She sighed then lay back down on the pillows

"So what should I do in the meantime for work?" She asked

"I can open that hair shop for you or better yet build or buy you a plaza" I offered

She sat up again this time as fast as lighten

"What! Yuh mad! Mi can't ask yuh fi do dat" She said

"Yuh don't have to ask I want to do it for you, furthermore mi a yuh man mi suppose to contribute to yuh happiness"

"But you are my happiness Theo not your money" she said and my heart melt

"I know but I want to do something for you"

"Getting me a hair shop or buying me a plaza is way too much babe" she told me

"But I can afford it babes"

"But I can't accept it T my pride won't let me, I'm sorry" she said

"Okay" I finally said giving up

For now at least

"But can you at least let me take care of you until you get a different job please?" I asked

She looked at me wearing a little smile on her face

"You don't give up easily do you?" She asked

"No" I replied grinning knowing her answer before she even say it

"Okay Theo I'll let Karen know in the morning that I won't be coming back to work" she said

"Are you happy now?" she asked

I went to lay onto of her

"Extremely happy" I said as I took her lips

I made love to her all morning wearing a condom 

Sometime after four she fell asleep and I went downstairs to have a drink and make some calls

My dawgs dem neva sleep and time like dis mi glad fi dat.
