Chapter 4: Phoe, Open The Fucking Door

Holy fuck this is bad. Kylie left the Arena and then after Dravon punched Tejus and told him about before... Well let's just say his face clouded over and then a storm with thunder and lighting started raging above us. Everyone else in the Arena started moving at that point, the girl wondering why she was on the floor, the girl that was trying to hit our mate falls on her face and everyone else starts looking around wondering what the fuck happened and why everything changed so suddenly. Then Tejus just disappeared and I look at Zander as he says

"Where the fuck did he go?" I sigh, putting up a soundproof barrier before I start speaking.

"Where would you go if you just found out your mate was abused most of her life. He's gone to her. Shit!" I get Dravon telling him, I do, he needed to know why his words were cutting, it's not his fault he said what he did, if it was normal circumstances what he said to her wouldn't have been as big a deal. And now he knows to watch what he says, but I hate that it's changed things for her. She loved him not knowing, he made her feel normal and not so broken. It's just the icing on the cake, that she's already mad at him. 

"I can't just stand here when I know she's hurting. I'm gonna go see her too and remove Tejus if she wants him away from her. This shit is fucked up. She leaves for Declans in 2 days. Why can't he keep his mouth shut" Keelan fumes

"Give him a break, Kee. He's beating himself up enough as it is and we've all been arseholes to him. Again. He's going through shit as well and its not all his fault, it's not like he knew, none of us would tell him and she certainly didn't. We need to work together and help them both through this. Nothing is going to get sorted otherwise. We all need to fully accept that he's one of us. If one of you had done what he did we would have been livid sure, but we'd never have turned our backs on you and made you feel alone and like you couldn't talk to us. Which is what we've done to him, we've picked sides and that was wrong. He's her mate and the only ones that know that have been ignoring or raging at him. How would you all feel?" No one speaks for a minute taking In what iv just said. Then Blake bursts out with.

"Fine, but I'm still with in my rights to be fucking pissed! But yeah you're right. And I said something along those lines to him last night, after seeing him sitting at her door. I took one look at him and felt bad for him, coming to the same conclusion you just did. It's affecting him just as much as it's affecting her and we all know why he did what he did. I can't deny that I probably would have done the same thing in his shoes'' 

"Yeah. I agree. I probably would have to." Sebastian adds and I say

"Good. Now we need to figure out how to get them over this. Her mostly. She doesn't trust any of us right now. She's looking and half acting how she did when she first came to us" 

"What do you suggest? She's been blocking us out." Zander sighs

"Let's get back now and talk about it later. I wanna see her" Blake says. We all nod and he opens a portal to the house and we all step through. We're all about to head up to her room when Tejus appears in the middle of the living room and he looks broken. Fuck. Did she reject him? I'm shocked even more when he just collapses to the floor with his head in his hands, rocking back and forth and he… he cries. Then we all feel the soul consuming anguish he's feeling. And now I feel sick. What else could cause this reaction if she didn't reject him. I look to the others who are in the same state of shock. I swallow and step towards him and gently say

"Tejus. What… What happened? She didn't-"

"Reject me? No, but I... wouldn't blame her if… she did... How… how could you all… keep that shit from me… she… I… just so much… I want it out of my head… I felt it… I felt it all…" He cries. I'm starting to panic. What is he talking about? I'm about to ask but Dravon beats me to it
