"I'm sorry, Jake

"I'm sorry, Jake." Fiona smiled sympathetically, now that the loop was closed he was stuck. He couldn't get back to his time.

"What do we do now?" Claire asked.

"Is there any sign of Barron and Miss Peregrine?" Jack sighed.

"Gone. Barron must have had a boat." Olive shook her head.

"Well, we have to go after them." Jake told us.

"We know he's taking her to Blackpool." I reminded them.

"But Blackpool's miles away. The next ferry doesn't go for hours. We'll never make it in time." Millard pointed out.

"Not unless we go by boat, too." Jake corrected him.

"We don't have a boat." Bronwyn told him.

He looked at Emma with a knowing look and told us to follow them.

They led us along the beach to a small wooden boat.

"Jake, I hate to break it to you but that's not getting us to the pier let alone Blackpool." I told him.

"It doesn't need to." He replied, pushing it onto the water.

We all swam deeper towards the large shipwreck.

After a lot of convincing Jake got us all in the small wooden boat then made us capsize.

Emma had provided us with oxygen bubbles so we wouldn't drown.

Once we had made it onto the boat Emma used her peculiarity to rid the boat of any water.

The boat slowly rose back to the surface.

Olive then used her fire control to get the engines working again.

The boat's lights came back on and the propeller starting spinning.

We were on our way to Blackpool.

We all met in the main steering room.

Claire struggled to see so Enoch lifted her up onto his hip as Bronwyn held the twins up.

"No boat huh?" Jake laughed.

"Shut up." I laughed back.

"What are you doing?" Enoch asked, walking into the dinning hall where I was sat going over the prophecy.

"It doesn't matter." I replied, shutting the book.

"Hey, what's this." Enoch opened the book back up again at the same page.

"It's nothing." I covered it with my hand.

"Move your hand." He told me but I shook my head.

"Leave it." I told him.

He lifted my hand off the book and read the prophecy out loud.

"What does that mean?" He asked me.

"I don't know but it doesn't matter." I stood up.

"Wait, you don't think this is what was in Horace's dream, do you?" Enoch asked me.

I opened my mouth to speak but couldn't come up with anything to say.

We both just stood there for a bit.

"It doesn't matter because I'm not going to kill my family and become evil." I sighed.

"Maybe you don't have to become evil." He told me, walking over to me.

"You saw Horace's dream." I replied.

"We all know Horace's dreams can change." He reminded me.

"I guess." I shrugged.

"The more firepower we have, the better." He told me as I walked over to the window to look out at the sea.

"I don't want to risk hurting you guys." I shook my head.

"You won't." He joined me by the window.

"What if I do?" I asked him.

"You won't." He said again as he placed his hand on my cheek.

I sighed, looking into his eyes.

Neither of us moved until he started to lean in slowly.

One of the skeletons falling over made us both jump apart.

I cleared my throat as he rubbed the back of his neck.

"Where are your family buried?" He asked me, walking back over to the book.

I sighed before looking at him.

"Blackpool."

"Seriously? That's perfect." He told me.

"Too perfect?" I ran a hand through my finger hair.

"Calm down, you won't hurt us." He smiled at me before walking out.

"It's not me I'm worried about." I looked in the old slightly rusted mirror.

I was met with the sight of the evil me, smirking back at me.

She winked before disappearing.

I looked down at my hands, the same black colouring she had on hers was slowly spreading up my forearms.

We were all stood around a map with all of the known loops marked on it.

"It's here but it's new." Jake pointed to a point on the map.

"She made it early this year. That's my year. If we don't get out before it closes, we're stuck in January 2016." Jake explained.

"Great. So, time catches up with all of us, we all die, except you. Plan?" Enoch asked.

"The loop closes at 4:30. That means we need to get in, rescue the Ymbrynes and then get out." Jake replied.

"Yeah, if we're not already dead. Miss Avocet said the machine is in the cellar of the Blackpool Tower building. That means we will be indoors...with Hollows." Enoch pointed out.

"No, we won't. I've got a plan. But I'm gonna need your help." Jake told us.
