I reached my office at 9:30. I checked my emails for 10 minutes then, I called Rahul to my office.
“Rahul file?” I asked
“Ma’am...” Rahul said
I looked up from my files
Priya came running in.
“Ma’am... The file is ready...” Rahul sighed.
“Priya, you can leave.” I took the file and she left the room.
Rahul sat on the chair in front of my desk.
“Rahul, everything seems perfect about this project still I am a little stuck somewhere,” I said
“What is it, ma’am.?” Rahul asked
“What is it? That’s the thing I have to find. There are still 20 minutes in the meeting. Give me 15 minutes. I will have the reason.” I said and smirked
“Nobody can cheat you, ma’am,” Rahul said and smiled
“You are just exaggerating..” I said remembering the incidence. This is all lie. There are people who can cheat me.
“No way ma’am, I can bet on it no one can cheat you.” He said
“Circumstances and people can change a person completely,” I said and smiled.
I was cheated once, and that one incident taught me to never believe in people.

“Miss. Sharma, you said yesterday that your secretary would contact us by yesterday evening but instead of replying to us, why had you hold another meeting?” Mr. Singh asked
“Yes, Mr. Singh but I have some questions I want answers to those questions,” I said and smiled a blank cold smile.
