Chapter 6: Some kind of school

???: This him?

Clementine: Yes. His name is Y/N.

She looks at me up and down.

???: Damn... you look rough.

Clementine: Violet...

Y/N: It's fine. Look at me... I've been through hell.

Violet gives me a little frown, then she walks away.

Clementine: She'll get used to you. She was like this when I arrived as well.

Y/N: You weren't part of this group before?

Clementine: Like you, I used to be alone out there. It was just me and another kid.

She points at a kid with a old baseball cap with a D on it.

Clementine: Then the old leader of this place found us after a car accident. And he took us here.

Y/N: Huh, guess we both arrived the same way.

Clementine: Yeah, I guess we did.

Y/N: Who's your kid's name?

Clementine: He's not actually my kid, but his name is AJ.

Y/N: I assume his parents didn't make it...

Clementine: Yeah, they didn't make it, I've been with him ever since. I would never leave him.

Y/N: Sounds like you could be a good mother.

Clem smiles, but I look down. Remembering how me and Rose were planning on starting a family.

Clementine: What's wrong?

Y/N: Nothing.

AJ walks over to us.

AJ: He's the one you and Aasim found?

Clementine: Yes. His name is Y/N.

Y/N: Hey buddy.

I stick out my hand towards AJ.

Y/N: Nice to meet you.

AJ smiles and shakes my hand.

AJ: Nice to meet you too.

Clem smiles at me and AJ. We both let go.

AJ: I'll see you guys later.

Clementine: Okay.

Y/N: See you later... I guess.

AJ walks away. I then see another boy looking at me weirdly.

Y/N: Ummm... hello?

Clementine: Willy.

Willy runs away.

Y/N: What's wrong with him?

Clementine: It's nothing, you're just new. He did the same when I came here.

Y/N: Oh, I get that.

Clementine: Okay... I'll let you introduce yourself to the others. We'll eat when Omar finishes the food.

Y/N: Okay.

Clem starts to walk away.

Y/N: Wait.

Clem turns towards me.

Clementine: Yes?

Y/N: I-I just wanted to say thank you again.

Clem smiles.

Clementine: Don't mention it. I'll see you later.

She then walks away. I look around again. I see one person, he's just hanging around with a... chair leg? I decide to walk towards him.
