Jungwon couldn't help but feel
Extremely miserable for no reason,
Days have gone by already and it feels
Like Jay and Him were back to square one.

He knew he didn't want to get hurt, and he knew it was
Probably the best decision to just forget about Jay.
How could he have thought Jay would be the one?
They only just met, and he was sure Jay was thinking
The same thing. Back to the drawing board once again..
Jungwon sighs, groaning to himself.

"I can't fall for a man I just met.. I still have a daughter
To take care of.." Jungwon rolls to the other side of his
Bed, feeling hazy as he feels the time tick down, it was
Raining heavily, so there wasn't much to do at all really.

KNOCK! KNOCK!

"Come in.." Jungwon mumbles silently as he hears
A light creek from the door, Jungwon moving back
To the side where he could see the door to his room,
Noticing it was Daeun.

"Daeun?" Jungwon looks at the younger who walked
Up to him, "Papa? Are you alright? You look really tired.."
Daeun asks worriedly, "I"m okay Eun, I'm alright." Jungwon
Smiles half-heartedly.

"No you aren't! You aren't like this at all!"
Daeun whines as Jungwon chuckles, "It's okay Daeunnie,
Papa will be fine okay? I promise." Jungwon reassures her.

"Are you sure it's not about Teacher Jay?" Daeun asks,
"It's nottt~ I promise." Jungwon giggles, most likely lying
As Daeun sighs, "I am always here Papa! I hope you know

His daughter as she runs out of Jungwon's room to go

"You're kinda.. You know, really out of it." Sunoo

Sunoo rolls his eyes, "Is it about that Jay guy you met?"
He asks as he takes a sip of his iced-coffee, "Okay okay

Exclaims.

Mumbles.

"It's been a.. Month.." Sunoo mumbles.

"Exactly my point!! I feel like the more I see him taking
Care of others makes me fall more so I'm ignoring him!"
Jungwon yells as Sunoo could only giggle, "I mean, you know, Even if you fell too quick, that doesn't matter at all, the only Time that matters is the time you spend with each other." Sunoo explains.

"Also, a lifetime isn't enough to get to know
someone." Sunoo adds.

"I know I know.. I just don't wanna rush it.. Daeun's only 7.. And That's her.. That's her teacher.. I can't just.." Jungwon sighs Frustratedly.

"Maybe if you talk it out with your daughter. She's only 7 yes but Being her favorite uncle I know her well." Sunoo points out, "She Will do anything that makes you happy Jungwon." Sunoo adds to it.

"I just.. I want the best for her.. And for me too, but, I just
Think it's so quick to judge Jay like this, i mean, I literally have A child Sunoo, this isn't just some random fling, this is someone who Has the possibility of fathering Daeun too.." Jungwon replies back.

"You should take some time to think about it then, you shouldn't Be too quick to judge him this way either Jungwon. And, on the bright Side, you've rejected so much people up until this point you know, give Jay a chance at least? Even it takes years for you to decide.." Sunoo
Retorts, "I guess.." Jungwon mumbled, feeling as if Sunoo was correct. He couldn't judge Jay this quickly both on the good and negative Side, it needed time for him to decide.

He wanted the best for Daeun and him, and he had

Jay turns around, noticing a knock by his apartment, wondering If it was a parcel, although he never recalled ordering such things Last week, sighing, deciding it was probably a friend, walking towards The door, opening it to his surprise.

It's been a week since he saw this face.

"Jungwon?" Jay asks quietly as Jungwon shivers silently,
The cold air as the snow fell down on the younger, "Hey..
Come in, it's freezing cold outside." Jay says surprised,
Immediately tugging Jungwon inside who was practically
freezing.

"Why'd you come all the way over here? It's nighttime.."
Jay exclaims, Jungwon flushes, lowering his head as not even Jay cared to ask why he suddenly showed up, only getting worried If Jungwon would end up getting sick or not.

"I just wanted to see you again." Jungwon sniffles, his
Nose red from the shivering cold, only wearing high-waisted
Jeans and a long-sleeved turtle neck.

"You idiot.." Jay scoffs, pulling Jungwon into a warm embrace, Rushing to get a hot pack from the cup-board as he wrapped Blankets around Jungwon.

"What the hell prompted you to come here?" Jay asks.

"You might get sick Jungwon.." Jay sighs frustratedly,
Kneeling down infront of the younger who was practically
Shaking while sitting down on Jay's couch.

"I wanted to see you.." Jungwon mumbles.

"Jungwon.. I'd rather be ignored for a whole month
Than see you walk here freezing cold, your fingers are
Turning purple at this point.."  Jay replies back, "Stay here,
I'm not allowing you to walk back home in the shivering cold." Jay sternly says.

"What about.. Daeun?" Jungwon asks.

"Where's your phone?" Jay asks as Jungwon shakily hands

Thinking Daeun was awake, it was only 8pm, so she must've been Getting ready to sleep at the very most.

"Hello? Who's this?" Daeun asks quietly.

"Daeun, it's Teacher Jay." Jay smiles softly, "Teacher Jay! Is
That why Papa ran off today?!" Daeun exclaims, "Yes Daeun, Your Papa.. is.. Um, he might get sick for the night, and I'm not Allowing him to walk back freezing, are you okay with staying With yourself?" Jay asks quietly.

"Yes! I am! And um.. Please.. Teacher Jay.. I have one request.." Daeun mumbles quietly.

"What is it Daeun?" Jay replies.

"Can you take? Care of Papa for me? He likes you

Feeling a tint of red brushing over his cheeks as he

Hanging up on the small girl, looking towards Jungwon again.

"Your dearest daughter allowed you to stay here."
Jay smiles as Jungwon scoffs, "Knowing it's you she'll
Obviously accept it.." Jungwon sighs, "Why'd you come
Here Jungwon? Hey.. you could've just done it tomorrow.."

"I can't just sit and wait until tomorrow.. Jay."
Jungwon mumbles.

"What do you mean?" Jay asks quietly as he

Looks to Jungwon who couldn't even bare to
Look at the older, his cheeks were bright red.

"I.. thought.. For a bit.. And.."
"In the past two months.. I .. decided.."

Jungwon sighs, feeling the air in the room
Grow heavy.

"Maybe I want to spend more time with you rather
Than judging you so quickly, I realized."
