Jungwon sighs, stretching his arms backwards
As he feels a crack as he sighs, relieved from the
Stressful day from work, taking his leave as he feels
A tap from one of his co-workers.

"Yoo! Jungwon-ah! We're gonna go drinking later at night,
Wanna join us?" The boy smiles, the boy being Kim Sunoo,
One of Jungwon's closest friends.

"Ah.. I think I can.. But, I need to check on Daeun.."
Jungwon says as Sunoo sighs, "Come onnn.. We all know
Your daughter is as independent as she can be, why don't
You call her and confirm it?" Sunoo asks.

"I guess.." Jungwon sighs.

It's been a really long time ever since Jungwon took on
Daeun as his daughter, being it wasn't his. But a friend who
Couldn't take care of her, but even since then, Daeun always
Looked up to Jungwon, being the most lovable father he could Be for the small girl.

Although it seemed quite young for people to suddenly take care Of a child at 18, Jungwon still looks fondly back at the times whenever He came back from college to see Daeun, 25, already working and Paid well, with his dearest 7 year old daughter, what else could he ask For more?

Well, that was the issue for Jungwon.
25 and already having a child with no person to support him, I mean, it was different, his bestfriend Sunoo already had a boyfriend, His other employees were going out hanging out at night-bars, while He took his time to take care of Daeun.

He was happy sure, but at least he would've wished
To be with someone so that Daeun would grow up with
2 parents instead of 1.

"Finee.. I'll go, i'll just call her." Jungwon groans, picking up
his phone from his office desk, ringing the house phone as he Anxiously waits for Daeun to pick it up, knowing the bus has Probably already dropped her off to the House.

"Yes? Who's this?" A meek voice asks.

"Daeunnie? It's Papa." Jungwon sweetly says, "Ah! Dad!
Why are you calling?" She asks, "Papa will be a bit late to
Come home okay, I'm sure you're an independent girl right?" Jungwon asks as Daeun chuckles from the phone.

"Yes! What do you need me to do?" Daeun replies, "Nothing
Dear, by the time it hits 9pm, I want you to brush your teeth
And change into your sleeping clothes and go to bed, i'll treat You to a surprise if you follow~" Jungwon coos.

"Ooh! Okay okay! Got it! I will!" Daeun exclaims, "Alrightt, thank You Daeun, i'll come as soon as I can, I love youu~" Jungwon chuckles,

"I love you too Dad!" She replies, hanging up as Jungwon could only  Chuckle, looking up to notice Sunoo's soft smile.

"Hmm? What's up?" Jungwon asks, "Nothing, it just seems like You really love her a lot. I bet she loves you too." Sunoo chuckles.

"Oh shush! Maybe one day you'll have a kid of your own." Jungwon Rolls his eyes, packing up his stuff as Sunoo flushes, "I–I don't think Sunghoon would be that interested.." Sunoo mutters out.

"Oh sure he would, you just gotta convince him! We have our days anyways, Let's not rush it as much." Jungwon chuckles, "Yet you still don't have a partner Yourself hm? Daeun's been asking where's her second parent?" Sunoo teases As Jungwon's eyes widen, blushing a bit, he did remember all of a sudden how Much Daeun asked if she had another parent, maybe this time something could Happen at least now that he was going out for the first time in a while.
