Ben 10 Radiant War, Vol.2

Deja Vu

Ben awoke.. heaving in pain.. 

"Wh-what happened?"

"The Demon happened, that's what. You've been out for...er... quite a while."

Ben blinked as Ophelia's face came into focus. "Wait a minute.. the demon came to Mika's house?"

"Hmmm?" Ophelia blinked. "What are you talking about? You've been dreaming I'm quite sure. You've been out for 2 weeks."

Ben furrowed his brow as he lay there, Ophelia tenderly pressing a wet cloth to his forehead. What happened? He was pretty sure he had already woken up, gotten the news about the 2 weeks and then for some reason.. he went to Mika's house.. and..

Ben sat up quickly, his body hurt as he did so, but he ignored the pain. "Th-that guy in the white coat!!"

"Guy in the what?" said Ophelia. "My  dear you need to calm down. I think you've been having a very vivid dream."

"N-no.. this can't be right.. " Ben muttered. "You can't tell me you forgot. We had breakfast in the living room, then Erice got a call.. and I went XLR8.. and I.. I.. fought somebody.. I.. urggh."

Ben rubbed his head. What in the world had happened!?

"WHAM!!" suddenly, Erice shoved open the door, as if prepared to look livid, but then just stopped abruptly.

"Oh, you're.. just talking I guess I didn't need to be worried." Erice muttered, blushing a little as she looked away. "S-s-so you're awake Ben, d-do you feel alright?"

Ben's jaw just dropped

"D-Deja vu.."

"Eh?" said Erice.

"T-Total deja vu!" Ben roared. 

Later at the breakfast table, Ben eyed Hanzo suspiciously as Erice served out bowls of rice and some more food. 

"What the heck Boss." Hanzo muttered. "Did getting put in a coma make you paranoid? I'm still me."

"J-just.. you really don't remember ANY of this already happening?" Ben muttered. "Me finally waking up.. Erice kicking in the door..? Come on, deja vu?"

"Nope." said Hanzo. "Sometimes people have odd dreams and sensations like that though. Suggestions that this is something they've done before. Some people theorize that they've already died and they're in the process of their entire life flashing before their eyes."

"Naw.." Ben muttered. "That can't be.. that.. can't.. be.. It's so real it's.."

Ben furrowed his brow, folding his arms, then his eyes lit up. "Right! If everything I predict comes true then I can't be hallucinating right? Um.. right Ophelia, you were planning on having showing with me before Erice burst through the door weren't you? Umm something about my inexperience, and that you were going to do something as thanks, well it involved taking off your clothes for some reason!"

Ophelia suddenly went bright red and covered her mouth. "UMM! W.. Well.. Uh.. m-maybe I.. eeeeehh, w-would you be.. okay with that?"

"HAAAH!?" Erice squealed, looking bright red herself. 

"And.. And I unlocked a NEW alien, you guys mentioned it the last time! A vampire alien or something!" Ben said. 

"Boss, ya literally transformed into that thing to protect Ophelia, I think ya might've been subconsciously aware of that already. Plus Ophelia wanting to make love with ya's totally obvious."

"IT IS!?" Ophelia squealed, steam gushing out of her ears.

"Make what with me? I didn't quite hear that, nevermind! Also, about now! Mika's gonna call you and tell you an intruder's in her house!!"
