She went on and on telling everyone what life is like for the ghouls and the humans who lived there, how starvation is utter hell for a ghoul, how ghouls are just trying to stay alive in this world, how human flesh or coffee is their only source to satisfy their hunger, how the CCG's kill every ghoul they come across including young children or non-fighters, and how Kaneki was the only one who can see the line between human and ghoul and how they should try to fix this society system.

When it comes down to it, their reality is strikingly similar to theirs.

Shinshinjane explains "Jason saw Kaneki as a pawn for destruction. Jason believed he could snap Kaneki's mind in half to allow Rize to come forth. He wanted to kill Kaneki but not before he could have a little fun first. His sadism got in the way when he decided to torture him to see how far he could go before he snapped. Image that was Eren being tortured and One of the traitors, bad guys, or one of you ingrates in Jason's place. Zoe Hange I'm looking in your direction!"

Their faces turned pale pretty fast.

Eren will show them no mercy.

And he and Historia can't help but to feel a bit of satisfaction on that fantasy.
