School was becoming harder and harder by the day.
Iris was having a difficult time focusing on her lessons. With all of the arguments at home, it was a miracle she could close her eyes and sleep. But even slumber wasn't enough for her.
The teachers grew worried when Iris struggled to recall what she had learnt the previous weeks. Her tests results had dropped significantly. Her classmates began to claim she was stupid and it affected the little girl.
And a parents meeting hadn't been enough, having ended in a screaming match.
